QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:43 PM) The league called Ozzie and said theyll be watching and will take action if the Sox pitchers throw at Oakland. That is complete bulls*** when you have 4 batters hit and they have none. Yeah the league should take action if the situation gets out of hand, but that is just baseball. do you know who specifically called him? that is horses***. how about taking action against these damn oakland pitchers.

QUOTE(JimH @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:06 AM) Crede has a sore foot but he was well enough to step in last nite after Ozuna got plunked. Personally I'm not worried about that. Podsednik is not hurt to my knowledge, I think this thread may have been referring to his prior groin injury. I read where they are evaluating both Uribe and Ozuna this morning. Ozuna had x-rays on the hand but I've not heard anything else yet. The Sox site said Harris may be pressed into emergency SS duty today if Uribe and/or Ozuna can't go. Was Hermanson available last nite?

Brantley is Rob Dibble, only slightly less annoying. Both need to lighten up on the hair gel.

Awful Experience at Sox Park (Cellular Field)

SSI, Hawk Harrelson totally agrees with you. Right before the game starts he tells everyone to hunker up, and strap 'em down. He's clearly in favor of some sort of restraining devices on the seats. -

When they put in the green seats, they should of had them double as toilets. Even less reason to ever get up! -

QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Apr 22, 2005 -> 12:54 PM) Tell Jerry you didn't like people getting up and you were wondering if maybe you can sit in the front row next time. I told you my etiquette...you didn't respond so I'm guessing that wasn't good enough for you. You keep pushing this usher s*** at the top of the aisles....which is in essence, keeping those people(who paid the same as you) from enjoying the game. That's not right either. There's a way they can do it without waiting for the inning to end. I am not there to scold people for having to take a piss. It's pretty much just common courtesy and some people are just assholes. It has nothing to do with baseball knowledge...has to do with some people are just ignorant. Vendors walk by you...should we get rid of them?? They might make you miss a pitch. If there were no vendors more people would get out of thier seat. -

QUOTE(southsideirish @ Apr 22, 2005 -> 12:49 PM) That is allowed? Sounds good to me!!!!! It's preferable to wait until an exciting moment during the game when everyone is up and jumping and screaming. Sneak up behind them, let em have it. When everyone sits back down and the dude is twitching like a fish out of water just act all -

Seriously, if someone keeps getting up in front of you, just taser them. Problem solved. Seriously. -

lol, crazy carl's avg. is higher than his obp. Is that due to the number of sac fly's he's had?

In order to get maximum return on the all you can eat and drink service, I would suggest not sitting there for a burly-mon start. Pick a Contreras game and strap 'er down for a nice 3+ hour game. If mark is pitching the game will be over after a dog and beer.

QUOTE(mreye @ Apr 1, 2005 -> 03:47 PM) That's OK. Below the belt? She didn't feel it. Punch my ticket to hell! We'll be here all week. Don't forget your waitresses.

QUOTE(kwill @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 06:18 PM) You know how about a trade that would be a three way trade that would send garland, cotts, and borchard to the reds for willie mo pena, then send pena to the nationals to the nationals for L. Hernandez or Z. Day. Jim Bowden is in love with W. Pena. I dont know, just specualation on my part. this is interesting, i wouldn't mind this trade for Livan. Any other thoughts on this?
