I told them to not use those resistors!!!

PA - I though a person had to do that already. When I opened my checking account back in 1999 (or so) I had to do that (not the background check, but the other item). I am not sure I agree with a background check, but that isn't my decision to make. I have nothing to hide so they are free to check away.

While I knew it was coming, it still sucks. It pretty much writes the good bye letter for my favorite team. I retired my Hurricanes (okay, it is really Brian's but he gave it to me lol) hat about a week ago and will wear my Patriots hat (okay, it's his too, but since has a bunch of these, he let me have this one) until I can find a Cingular/Jeff Burton hat or Sox hat that I like.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 14, 2005 -> 11:57 AM) What are you guys doing for your Valentine today? Do most of you hate this day? Married? how long? GF? how long? Plans? Me? Married, 3 years. Dinner and a gift. I am not big on V-day - just another day to me. 1) We are working. We spent the weekend in bed - not a good way we are both sick. He has some stomach thing and I have a head cold that is killing me 2) will be married 10/29 of this year. We got back together 3/23/01, got engaged on 11/14/03. 3) Dinner was supposed to be homemade stuffed manicotti, but since we were sick we had chicken soup and orange juice. 4) He got me an awesome card (it was funny, sweet and absolutely perfect) and a beanie baby hamster. He keeps wanting me to tell him something else to buy, but I don't want anything else. I am getting him a Ricky Rudd/Woodbrothers cap.

QUOTE(TheBigHurt35 @ Feb 12, 2005 -> 10:19 PM) Agreed that most women would break off their engagement the minute that their fiance' suggested something like this. A word of advice to all single and engaged men: Do not mess with your woman's wedding plans. It's her day, not yours. Do what she wants to do. First off - it's both their days. Brian and I have been working together on planning our wedding and we have been having a blast doing so. He should have as much a good time as she, what fun is a wedding otherwise? If we could agree on a sports team, that would have been a blast to do, but since we are always cheering against each other lol.

Awesome! That movie rocked! Brian just finished the game and said the game was worth the cash it cost. He said the game followed the movie fairly closely.

HAPPY BDAY!

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Feb 12, 2005 -> 10:24 AM) All you people better talk really nice about Comcast. Well, as my mom taught me, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all! Seriously though, good luck and make that company better!

QUOTE(Chisoxmatt @ Feb 12, 2005 -> 10:15 AM) Thats probably why. The last line of the article claims he took two and passed them, that's why I was puzzled.
-
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 12, 2005 -> 10:12 AM) Someone from Milwaulkee must have put a curse on him or something. LOL! That's as good an explanation as any lol!

If he passed two breathalyzers, how could he be charged with DUI? That doesn't make any sense.

QUOTE(Goldmember @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 06:50 PM) nascar fan, yes. wrestling fan, no. Me too! Go RICKY RUDD! (Just for tomorrow since Jeff Burton isn't in it. )

While she is nutso, I am relieved that the poor boy didn't have a bag over his head or was thrown from a car.

QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:52 AM) You are asked to compile a report on all your ongoing projects. LOL! I just had a sit down with my boss the other day and mentioned this as one of the reasons as why I was afraid that our jobs might be on the line.
-
Why do people who don't deserve babies have them and yet people that do and really want them physically can't? Life just doesn't make sense to me sometimes. I know someone who can't and has been trying to adopt for awhile with no luck.
-
OMG! That is hysterical. Not that someone had their ball ripped off, just the verbal exchange.
-
QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 02:47 PM) So now you're saying that only children from bad homes are victims of sexual predators..? I can verify, for a fact, that this is not true. And that's all I will say about that.

Maybe another?

QUOTE(mreye @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 01:26 PM) Bud Shootout this weekend. Excited? Not as much if Burton was in it, but since Ricky is I do have someone to cheer for so YES!
-
QUOTE(mreye @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 01:08 PM) NASCAR? Now I know why you're so pissed. Some of the scrap on that one fell out of the dumpster when Brian left that day lol (and yeah, it was scrap - stuff that did line up correctly, etc - not the good stuff). My favorite thing he has from his current job is a Kraft ad on linticular (sp?) - hologram type material. It had Jeff Burton in his new suit as well as a few other guys (Jon Wood was one I think). They let him take a few sheets and I gave one to my boss - got a bunch of brownie points for that one.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 12:51 PM) Blame the accountants!!!! Right Kap? Damn straight! Something was going on behind the scenes as they had two shifts of 12hrs each for the last year it was running (doing jobs for the government, Kraft, NASCAR and other big names - they also did some trading cards as well - had security guards for that one) and still managed to go under due to not paying bills (the bank foreclosed on a 70 yr old business).

Ex-Sox Player Admits to Steroids!
Queen Prawn replied to Al Lopez Ghost (old)'s topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE(Al Lopez's Ghost @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 07:32 AM) Well, I just checked our roster from 2001 - this book could blow the lid off of Royce Clayton's career! My brother said Clayton was on anti-steriods.
