  1. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Feb 22, 2005 -> 01:58 PM) also i miss futurama I remember being ambivalent when it was on Fox, but now that it is on Adult Swim, I watch it quite a bit and really like it.
  2. I was never a captain, but I ran 2 years of cross country. My cousin was in JV his freshman year and then varsity ever since (he's a junior now) - kid is fast!
  3. QUOTE(Goldmember @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 03:23 PM) good idea. gonna upload my posted... btw if anyone wants to know. good sites to upload pics: imgshack imgspot image venue Photobucket is good as well.
  4. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 12:06 PM) Man I f***ed up in the Fantasy Nascar league. I have Earnhardt Jr. and Gordon in my top tier. I just so happened to activiate Earnhardt Jr. over Gordon. Yeah, Jr. finished 3rd but Gordon won! I have JJ and JG in mine and I activated JJ instead of JG. I did pick JG in a contest I participate in on a jeff burton site I frequent though.
  5. QUOTE(Confederate_48 @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 11:10 AM) Lepage did an awesome job on both Thursday and Sunday. Hopefully he can use the money he won there and keep racing and build on that. Luckily for me I had him on my fantasy team this week so he got me alot of points. My fantasy team bombed this week. I thought it was great that Lepage got as far as he did without sponsorship.
  6. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 10:33 AM) Really fun movie with really weird or bad acting. Was it just me or did Cary Elwes character become English when he got really mad? In most films I have seen him in he seems to lose control of his accent about half way through.
  7. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 03:01 AM) I like the sigs and avs. I shouldn't have to make an all or nothing choice because of one inconsiderate person. I turned my sigs off quite some time ago due to the nature of them. I should turn the avs off as there seems to be a growing number of ones I find questionable, but there are too many I like to turn them off for the few. But I note that it is me that finds them offensive and questionable, why should I make that choice for someone else (ie ask them to remove it rather than ignore it or shut off avatars)? That's just my opinion though so take it for what it is worth.
  8. QUOTE(SAVVY18 @ Feb 20, 2005 -> 10:01 PM) The last 20 laps were AWESOME!!! All the lead changes, a few wrecks , Stewart didn't win it and Jeff did. Too bad it was the right Jeff! Brian at lap 47ish (when Ricky's tire fell apart) -> :banghead Me with about 15 to go when Burton's rear end gave out (sorry, but I was started laughing when I found out it was that and not his engine as that putz DW said it was) ->
  9. QUOTE(silver and black @ Feb 20, 2005 -> 05:27 PM) how so? I actually liked the ending, just a bad winner... Ricky Rudd: Tire issues (had this happen to him a bit last year where they were running great and relativiely new tires blow) Jeff B: Equipment issues (see his last two years with Roush to know about the car issues he's dealt with) Front of the pack: same group of guys (would love to see some one new up there every now and then - like when JB led for about 6 laps ) It is the same s***, just a different year. I am just glad Mark Martin and Rusty were in the top 10.
  10. That was a horrible pit by JB. Damn it he was 5th and now he will be 25th and it is his own fault too. This race is turning out to be what I was afraid of ...
  11. f***ing Goodyear apparently didn't get the problem fixed. Here's a big f*** YOU to them! How the f*** can you supply tires that tear apart at the seams? This has been happening all week and they keep claiming to have fixed the issue, but apparently not.
  12. Didn't he say the same thing before the second injury? I guess we soon shall see.
  13. QUOTE(danman31 @ Feb 19, 2005 -> 06:12 PM) You guys shouldn't have gotten your hopes up. These 2 sides hate each other too much. This is non-news at this point. Hell, I thought the cancellation was non-news. This has seemed obvious when the sides seemed to be far apart and barely negotiating. Exactly right. I didn't even blink when they said there was a potential deal.
  14. QUOTE(CrimsonWeltall @ Feb 19, 2005 -> 12:16 PM) Don't think too hard. The answer is stupid and very disappointing. Just got it and I agree 100%. Oh well. Time to go refill my coffee and finish my book.
  15. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Feb 19, 2005 -> 12:08 PM) I find simple delight in the engineer having trouble with this.. In all honesty, you're just thinking way too hard. Walk away. Come back later. After you've killed a few brain cells and you'll be able to get it. I've noticed one more thing. Only four answers ever come up (out of all the times I've clicked anyway). It apparently isn't an equation which takes all the fun out of it for me. Oh, well. I will plug away and see where I get. Thanks though.
  16. I must have rolled about 100 times by now and get it right about half the time all guess no clue what the equation is. Both 6 2 2 6 2 = 0 and 4 2 2 6 2 = 0. There has to be some clue in that but I am damned if I can see it (except that the first numeral is an extra, which I doubt). Also 1 4 2 1 6 and 2 4 4 2 1 and 1 2 1 6 2 = 0.
  17. Someone please tell me how to solve this blasted thing. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I hate games that lack real instructions.
  18. That's good to see. Right now he needs to do what is right for him and his family whether it is continuing his career or retiring.
  19. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Feb 18, 2005 -> 04:46 PM) As for whether or not its easy to vote, that is a fact based question, and one you can not generalize about. Many people live in different counties than they work, therefore they have to either go before or after work. This is not convenient, and the fact that voting is a right that stands on a pedastal should mean that the govt. does whatever is necessary to facilitate the ability for the most American's to vote, in the most convenient way. **Prawn raises her antennae** Prawn and soon to be Mr. Prawn deal with this. We both vote, but there have been election days where I almost missed it due to my hrs (I leave the house about 7:30 and get home around 7). I get up earlier and stand in line and end up being a few minutes late, but my boss is cool about it. Mr Prawn goes to vote before work (for the last 10 yrs his "standard" hrs are 2-10) and he said it doesn't seem to matter when he gets there, there is always a line. Because he has more time, it isn't as much an issue for him as it is me.
