I would love to have an explanation of what this guy is still in a Sox uniform. He can't pitch for crap the last few months and he is putting friendships with the rival team above his teammates.

I didn't think that you needed to be a scout to know you don't give that kind of cash to someone who's got the kind of injury Maggs has. But that is just my opinion...

The way they count them down is absolutely irritating. It's almost impossible to sit through the show because of that.

I just read that at NBC5. Sounds kinda like the cops went overboard (from witness accounts talked about in the article).

If this team can't score after having men on first and second with no outs, I am damned sure I am not going to blame the ump. This team needs to pull their heads out of their asses and concentrate on what is in front of them.

I am beyond fed up with this team and their need to lose as many games in arow as they win (as in they go on a 4 game win streak, they feel they must then immediatly go on a 4 game lose streak). I am starting to think it might be time to take a little break from the Sox (a few days, maybe a week just to reduce the frustrations).

A friend of mine is in the same boat - almost 2 years now without a steady job (picked up a few contract jobs along the way). Brian and I are lucky that our unemployment lasted only about 2-3 months each (and I was blessed enough to have actually still been employed while searching my job - debriefing time, so to speak).

The problem I have with Comcast is that they seem to raise their rates about once a month. The problem we have with their plain cable (as opposed to their digital cable) is that we are paying for HBO and not getting it - when Brian called, they said something along the lines of "then get digital cable." I guess it is what they have been trying to do so they have no more broadband cable subscribers (broadband is the non-digital cable, right?).

This is thing that infuriates me about this team...

Comcast now has high speed internet in my area so we actually have a choice between high speed internet providers. Costwise, the edge seems to go to WOW. Does anyone have an opinion on either provider? (We want to have our internet and cable from one provider. We are going to sign up for digital cable at the time we choose a provider.) Thanks!

I watched a couple of them race over the weekend. It's amazying the speed those can get when souped up (and one of them just had a 351 cleveland in it and NOS).

Why the hell do you need that crap in your car?! I can kind of understand in the back seat if you have kids and do road trips, but otherwise it is completely unnecessary. But that is JMO.

It depresses me that I didn't get into hockey until the last season of IHL. Brian said the Cyclones - Wolves games he got to see were some of the best hockey he ever saw.

No way would it be the only reason, but if the Sox do win the division, the Twinks might shut up for a few months (that would be the only reason! )!
