Until I moved in with Brain, he never had any Christmas decorations up unless his mom invaded.

Started out in Chicago, went to Mokena and back in Chicago kicking back for an hr or so before midnight mass.

I was just excited to see that Gerber is going to be the goalie for the Swiss Olympic team.

Yup - that's the tradition! My aunt has the pickle from when they were growing up and I bought the pickle last year or the year before at the downtown German faire.

Because of the last week or so, we are spending Christmas Eve with his mom and then Christmas day his family at his cousin's house. My mom is a little miffed that we won't be with them this Christmas, but there is nothing I can do about that.

The Christmas Eve conversations with my dad and uncle. I won't be able to have that this year and it makes me treasure the past conversations all the more.

My pickle (it's a German-Polish tradition), some of the ornaments our moms gave us from when we were a kids and the nativity scene I have beneath the tree.

I saw this on yahoo and thought it odd, but not entirely surprising.

Prayers go out to the Dungy family. Going through the grief process myself (my father-in-law suffered a massive stroke on 12/14 and died very early Sunday morning) right now and to quote my brother-in-law, it sucks donkey dick.

Could have to do with the issue reports that have been made on the 360. Brian wanted one but he knows a couple people that have them and have had issues plus he reads all those gaming magazines and must have read some articles about the issues that changed his mind.

It's not a comparison at all, just a general observation. Thanks for the kind words though.

The two Muppets Christmas movies (A Christmas Carol and the one that was on NBC about 3 years ago). Also any A Christmas Carol version.

Just going through what I've been through the last week or so and remembering all the attention this worthless piece of garbage received. . .it makes me so sick to my stomach that people that deserve that kind of publicity (good people who spend their lives doing for others) get jack s***.
