100% effective is the dominance Bobby is capable of. He has the stuff to be a top 3 closer in baseball. As of right now, he'll be a satisfactory closer and not much more. Nice win. Jenks gets a save and it helps his psyche; not so much his arm. Hopefully the Sox put up 15 tomorrow (and don't give up 18). And Buehrle manned the f*** up, 17 of his last 18 and like 20 of 22. That's mowing them down.

Yeah, they're my favorites right now to win it next year. They were literally like 2 field goals away from going to the Final Four, and now they're returning the same crew with another year of seasoning. They are going to look outstanding going into the tournament.

Jenks did suck last night, and that's a given. It doesn't change the fact that a better arm may have gotten Bradley at the plate, or a better fielder does come up with that ball in LF. That ball hit Podsednik in the head, and it didn't bounce off the wall first. Pods looked panicked in LF when that ball was hit.
