  1. High stepping rules. At least he cares and works on honing his defense.
  2. If bottom 10 in all MLB qualified starting pitchers is considered "good."

As Greg always points out, very few fans anymore get all that excited about playing AL Central Division opponents. The recent Twins games, arguably the most important series of the season, low 20ks and the big victory Wed afternoon just 18,000+. Not to mention we’re not playing well at home and 2-9 against CLE and MIN anyway. Fans vote with their feet. They didn’t like much about the offseason and they’re far from convinced this team will be a contender in the second half.
  5. He made a very good catch the other night against the Twins. He’s not the tall, left-handed target with long wingspan you might prefer, but he would be fine over there if he got reacclimatized to playing the position on a consistent basis.
  6. If we do any more hat tipping opposition starters, Sox fans will all end up as Hair Club for Men clients...
  7. Not many AAA pitchers throw 100-102. Timing is going to be off. We saw it the entire second half last year. Flashes but nothing consistent.
  8. Looking FB in a totally different area than where he got it.
  9. Of course. At least it wasn't a DP to end the game. Baez bailed out again.
  10. I would much rather face Moncada here.
  11. Worried more about WP or walk with bases loaded.
  12. Jimenez can't put the ball on the ground.
  13. Surprised McEwing didn't send Pollock.
  14. Designated closer. Should think more situationally if you're Hinch.
  15. At least he's not hitting with runners on base now.
  16. Yep Soto has spotty control but two plus pitches if he can locate the slider or FB. Gotta pressure him with base runners. Baseball stupid again.
