The funny thing is that while Birmingham has a decent record overall, they have pretty much zero legit everyday position prospects. They rode Smith/Taylor/Schultz to an extent, but zero outfield prospects and only Bergolla/J.Gonzalez have any real upside at all, and that seems more like utility infielder ceilings, at least for the moment.

He had a really poor read on a ball to the outfield that glanced off his glove. In theory, it was a broken bat that he couldn't hear/identify over the shouts of Cardinals' fans. Injuries like this are par for the course for mid 30's outfielders, pretty much an endangered species anymore in MLB.
