  1. Wish they would have cleared out some of the (outfield) vets so guys like Baldwin Colson and Quero/Teel can get more consistent/regular playing time. And still really don't know what they have with Vargas and Sosa moving forward.
  2. None of those guys listed are really legit prospects...other than Braden, who has hit his own wall after missing a lot of development time last year. Bergolla MIGHT be a utility guy in the big leagues.
  3. https://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/article/why-the-savannah-bananas--not-the-dallas-cowboys--are-americas-team-115432172.html Unfortunately JR and our own Greg775 might never read or experience this despite constant riffs and refrains on the same subject of what's wrong with modern baseball and what's the antidote? Lots of talk about runaway concessions prices (free food included at home park in Georgia for $35 tickets with precisely timed two hours games) comparatively across the four major sports. And there's former legendary Sox player Matt Skole as well. MLB statistics Batting average .217 Home runs 1 Runs batted in 7

  5. Plus very experienced in NL Central...
  6. Sosa can't be a legit 1B without a 775-825 ops. That's just not him, statistically.
  7. A lot more at stake with massive contracts and insurance/risk mitigation. Once upon a time 60-65% of the players had off season jobs.
  8. Bases loaded no outs you just don't escape that against the Dodgers on the road.
  9. As soon as TaYlor came out of the game the result was practically guaranteed.
  10. Of course Ohtani steals when he absutelyhas to.
  11. He had 50+ steals last year. Sosa not a good defender...never has been.
  12. Wilson just not a strikeout pitcher...
  13. Every team in baseball would have to consider due to the marketing possibilities as well as $46 million present day value of $70 million per year.
  14. 86.5 curveball not far off from high end slider a decade ago...
  15. Trapezius??? That's a rare one for BB.
  16. Burke with two unbelievable innings at that high pitch count.
  17. Worked for Amaya. Best hitter in the minors lol.
  18. Betts' entire season decimated by health and injuries...
  19. Baldwin in for Taylor now makes very little sense...
  20. The funny thing is that the WNBA and MLB are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum here and yet neither sport can figure out a way to appeal to the mainstream like NFL and the NBA have managed...to thread the needle and find the reasonable center.
  21. Still having flashbacks to 2017 RH Moncada? Eight years ago now feels like decades. Or the Kopech TJ injury in the rain.
  22. Well we have seen enough openers this year with Venable to know they only go 1-2 innings. Maybe Gilbert or Shuster went the longest as former starters.
