  1. He was just recently using Marshall in a key high leverage situation. Cue Balta and others on how many games TLR has cost Sox by showing absolutely no sense of urgency. Meanwhile, Hinch has a limited team playing way over its head.
  2. And there it is...the gaping hole in our bullpen. Can’t let Schoop, Candelario or Baddoo beat you.
  3. Have to go out and get a veteran 7th inning guy, or raise the corpse of Top Guns Cordero from the dead...
  4. Heuer breaking every cardinal rule in that situation as a reliever...
  5. Jealousy they couldn’t make it in professional sports at bigger physical dimensions, haha...the opposite of the Yao Ming Effect, where nobody can imagine what it’s like to be 7’4”.
  6. June/July/August at GRF...let’s go with 12-15 and get crazy!
  7. Only 40% of Top Ten player in MLB Yoan Moncada...well maybe the error will bump him out.
  8. Grandal with most amazing .790 ops of all-time.
  9. Baltimore will take at least a one run lead over CLE to the top of the 9th...
  10. Now we get to see if Eaton can make contact here...
  11. The one time Madrigal doesn’t make weak contact and put the ball on the ground somewhere...
  12. Like the cough drops or Hills brothers coffee guys...or Big Lebowski character.
  13. Grandal cruising towards new Mendoza Line of .150 at .146.
  14. Baltimore now up 2-1 on Cleveland in the bottom of the 7th at Camden Stockyards. Remember the Indians starter’s name, Jean Carlos Mejia. Wow, Royals up 10-0 on the reeling Twins. Maybe they will just give us Nelson Cruz to save money...of course, he’s probably turn into EE/LaRoche/Dunn as soon as we acquired him.
  15. That’s like asking Madrigal to do the same. Not going to happen. If you start changing (in season) what worked for 10+ years, you’re pretty much doomed, because you have already lost any psychological edge you had.
  16. Mize...I don’t think sucks, and he looks to be getting more and more confident each time out. Skubal has a lot of talent, just hasn’t been able to put it all together yet. All that said, an offense led by Baddoo and Schoop is doomed to struggle mightily. But add in Torkelson, Greene and Manning, things can start to look 180 degrees different in a hurry.
  17. Almost below an 800 ops. Waived by many fantasy team owners. Thanks, LaRussa! LaRussa’s Lounge...more like Dante’s Inferno.
  18. Ron was clearly NOT right for mocking them, Detroit definitely looking like pushovers...playing out the string behind Hinch. Btw, Wright down on the farm is doing something “right,” 2.10 ERA at Charlotte is like sub 1.5 anywhere else in baseball.
  19. I’m going Lynn for Game 1, that’s pretty clearcut. For the purposes of this question, Kopech comes back and throws 5 innings, with 8 k’s and 2 earned runs in Game 59-60...so the hamstring is behind him, but not the pitch count/stamina concerns. Would like to go Rodon in Game 2 to break up righties. Giolito might be the better choice, but for some reason, relying on his Game 1 results against Oakland, clear leadership role, 2019-20 results/history, I’d rather have him as the stopper in Game 3 compared to the deer in the headlights possibility with Rodon if the Sox somehow were down 0-2. Just a big X factor how he would react. Of course, many are going to argue Kopech over Rodon or maybe even Giolito...but taxing the bullpen is a big risk, and we know the only way through that would be Kopech and then Heuer/Crochet/Bummer going 2-3 innings (but in 2020 forms for both lefties) to get the game to Liam. Someone wrote Cease was the 27th best starter in the majors as of today. Well, I still don’t trust him against a high quality opponent when it really counts...which is the same feeling many now have about Keuchel despite the Cy Young votes and past playoff history (before last October.) Cease is the first guy out of the pen with a blowout situation either way. Will be pretty shocked to see either Cease or Keuchel get votes over the more obvious top four candidates. No Ron, you can’t vote Cease 18 times with your burner accounts for “like/s” accumulation, lol.
  20. Can we ban Ron if the Indians and White Sox are tied for first after Sunday?
