In my lifetime, Sosa (first 2-3 years), Eric Davis, Mike Cameron (as a Sox fan), Puig, Tatis and Robert are on a short list of the closest. Luis Robert has way more pop in his bat, much taller and not capable of taking those outside sliders to the opposite field just yet. In terms of actual hitting approach, Vladimir Guerrero, Jr., could be the closest today, but absolutely nothing else in common. His father lacked the foot speed but similar outfield arms and ability to drive any pitch within 10-12 inches of the strike zone in all four directions, but especially diving out over the plate and stepping in the bucker and still tripling . Ichiro Suzuki was amazing.
