Schriffen’s “La Pantera RAWR!” Call
Im not a fan so far, but can deal with it. The rawr though, its just too much. Please stop that s%*#. Also as noted before, this team is 41 games under .500. I feel like a good broadcaster would be able to highlight positives relevant to the season taking place instead of something good happening and he says "You know if they could just get some of these breaks..." its over man, tell us how good Sosa has been lately or how improved Thorpe has been over his last handful of starts. Praising Maldonado for finally getting over .100 aint it, I don't need to hear you beat that to death.

Chasing Records — 121 losses, modern MLB record
Im pretty sure Cleveland could lose the next 40 games in a row and would still be 10+ games up on the Sox.

GMs skeptical teams meet price for Robert
Im sure he wants to be extended, but we won't offer what that will take to get it done. I know you get this, but seems like most others don't. Garrett Crochet is arguably one of the best pitchers in baseball at this point in time. Hes not going to accept some $15 million a year sweetheart deal from the White Sox when he will be looking at $30 million a year in 2 seasons.

GMs skeptical teams meet price for Robert
People are going to be really stunned with how long this thing is going to take. There is no chance they extend Crochet, none. Already tried and apparently failed to get anywhere (what a shock). This will be 5 years minimum, book it.

7/8 Sox vs Twins, time for Flexual Healing
I wonder if this is true for most teams, but my god their hit rate is obscenely low on free agents working out.

7/8 Sox vs Twins, time for Flexual Healing
I know Benintendi has shown more power this year but I’ve never seen someone look like they crushed a ball only for it to just die out there.

7/8 Sox vs Twins, time for Flexual Healing
Jesus, f*** off Schriffen

7/8 Sox vs Twins, time for Flexual Healing
Oh yeah, this outing was downright awful, but he was throwing 100 mph with the Dodgers right?

7/8 Sox vs Twins, time for Flexual Healing
Am I imagining this or didn’t Leasure throw 100 MPH when he was in the Dodgers system.

Path to .500 in 2025
With those trades and the current prospects we have inching closer they may be worse but it will be a hell of a lot more enjoyable to watch seeing these guys develop and progress.

Sox/Marlins 7/7/24 GT
Kopech deserves the criticism for sure but the boneheaded bunt situation and Pham completely whiffing a catchable ball certainly didn’t help the situation.
-
Path to .500 in 2025
People need to be prepared of the real scenario where this team is worse in 2025, although with growth. Remember that it’s a very real possibility we go into next year without Crochet, Fedde, and Robert.

7/6 Games
Oh I’m sorry “44%” of the time, is that better for you?
-
2024 MiLB Catch All
Maybe that’s why he’s struggling because Jake Burger sucks.
-
7/6 Games
He’s gotta stop striking out 50% of the time before I start really getting excited.

Cease To Padres per Passan
I would need Holliday back for Flexen, but even then I have concerns about how overrated the Baltimore farm system is.
-
Cease To Padres per Passan
You can’t just eliminate an entire season to support your ridiculous comparison. It happened.
-
Cease To Padres per Passan
Cease is a career 3.88 ERA with 10+ K/9 I wish we had a rotation full of that meh
-
Story on Sox trade possibilities...
Fedde is going to bring back a very nice return. Not only is he having a great season, but he's under control for next season at $7,500,000 So not only is he producing like a front of the rotation pitcher, hes under contract for an absolute ridiculous price you would never be able to get otherwise. That equals a very nice return.
-
Cease To Padres per Passan
Cease has a 3.27 FIP and is striking out 11.5 per nine. He's also walking batters at a career best 2.8 per nine, also second best WHIP hes had since the 2022 season. He's a pretty good pitcher still.

Who will be traded by the deadline?
Soroka was owed 3,000,000 this season and since were halfway done, prorated another team would be on the hook for like less than 1.5 million. He has a 2.96 ERA as a reliever with a 15.2 K/9! I wouldn't be surprised to see some smart team make that move.
-
Who will be traded by the deadline?
Yeah I guess I missed Flexen
-
Who will be traded by the deadline?
I agree, if there is a legit offer they should do it. There is nothing special about him.
-
Who will be traded by the deadline?
As much as I want to see Robert and Crochet traded as the potential returns would be awesome, I don't think either of them get moved. I went with Fedde, Kopech, Brebbia, and a wildcard in Soroka since hes been much better as a reliever. Then for the hitters just DeJong and Pham.

Under what scenario would you consider offering Crochet and/or Kopech extensions?
There is not a team in MLB that would have signed Crochet to an extension this past offseason.
