They need to take the best talent available regardless if its a bat or an arm. If it happens to be bats, great. I would hope they wouldn't pass on a highly ranked arm to take a bat that they have ranked lower on their board.

Meh, he lost 100 games last year with a completely different roster. Pedro should not be an MLB manager. Its not like hes constantly making the right calls but players just fail. Hes constantly making head scratching decisions. Every time I see the lineup come out and we got Vaughn and Benintendi in the 2-5 holes, its like wtf are you doing man.

Seems pretty obvious to me they signed Clevinger to try and salvage an atrocious start. He was available to all other teams for little commitment and no one wanted him.

Maybe, but I’m pretty sure if this team won 81 games last year instead of 61 the same guys would still be here in charge.

My preference is they lose every game. Even if there’s only a small chance total embarrassment forces changes, I’ll take it. There’s way too many lousy and unlikeable players on this team, maybe things will change at the end of July.

This is not what it said. They didn’t say it “shouldn’t” have been called they just said the umpires do have discretion. The umpire said after the game the rule is its interference whether intentional or not, and the rule does support that. MLB just said they can make a judgement call not that it was a blown call.

I cant speak for the high school and beyond level, but there is absolutely pitch count rules in little league that we are required to follow.

Well considering the manager just recently came out and called him a pillar of this team, I would imagine not anytime soon.
