On a sidenote 20 year old Pedro Lopez was promoted to Birmingham while Andy Gonzalez replaced him in W-S. While Lopez is not having a great season (he won't walk) it is impressive that he is at Bham at 20. Gonzalez will probably start next season at Birmingham despite sucking it up there this year.

I had a chemistry teacher last year named Grdinic. As hard as that may seem to prounouce it's not that bad. Anyway, we called him G for the most part. This one kid called him G Unit though, that was funny.

Ulacia with a good start, but the Barons got shutout. Elizardo Ramirez, who looks like a pretty good prospect judging from what he did last year got the CG shutout giving up 3 hits. Box Score Kanny lost a doubleheader. Flores got shelled in game 1, Carlos Lee with a HR. Game 1 Box Gray with 3 hits, Rodriguez got shelled, Kyle Kane with 1.1 of perfect work. Box Score Bristol's final game got rained out I'm guessing. Their season is over. They finish 27-38, last in their division, 11th out of 12 in the league.

I merely disagreed with CS1's choice of Uribe and discredited Rowand on the whole. At least I backed up my statements with facts. And I already said my MVP was Konerko.

I, like others, have come from WSI because it was ridiculous over there. I think the difference will be that over there it would only take a few people to get offended for something to be closed or edited. Here it will take a concensus, or at least very near one. For example, old socks kept posting, 'Kenny, don't trade X prospect' or something of that sense everytime we talked about how good a prospect was doing. As a mod in the FutureSox Board I warned him to stop because it was senseless and beat into the ground. Others complained about it as well. Well after 2 warnings from myself and possibly more from others, Cerb finally edited a post of him saying that again (as I probably would have done) and Jason agreed with the decision. Then others spoke up and said there was nothing wrong with him voicing his opinion, regardless of how annoying it was. The fact that it was about 50/50 made it clear that we had to let him speak. Fortunately he has stopped, unfortunately I haven't seen him posting in the FutureSox Board lately.

Ozzie just wants to give them a look at the Bigs, get their feet wet. He knows it is not realistic. He loved them from ST and they can get their feet wet in big league play then. Anderson should be up Sept. of next year, Sweeney is further away.
