We’re going to see a small sample size of what the offseason will look like. Humility isn’t something that we manufacture as it’s a virtue born from being absolutely crushed. The funny thing about it though is that once experienced, there isn’t any other characteristic that can be more transformative to lift people up. Strange contradiction but it’s very true. The proud are opposed. The humble are lifted up. Let’s see if this happens quickly for the Chicago White Sox or if it happens slowly.

This. The team, even if the crap the bed for the next 5 games and get blown out swept in the first round... will be completely humbled by that. They’ll be crushed. Demoralized. Put out to pasture. They’ll see the glaring missed opportunities and the holes in their game. And they’ll sit on that for a few months. The talent is there. They’ll experience more drive. They’ll get better. They’ll mature and grow. Even if they lose out from here, I’ll still in the single way... be happy.
