Sometimes it is not possible for a player to throw it all the way to second from the corner of the outfield. And guess who gets the ball? No..no.. its not your mom. It's the cutoff man. Would you like to know what the definition of cutoff man is? I'm sorry I did not include the diagrams due to time constraints. If you feel you need them, please email me and I can probably have them sent to you. If necessary, a verbal explanation can also be included at a minimal fee. Did you get tired of playing the Trivia Game already? It's ok why don't you spend some time guessing the pitch and pitch location. That is very helpful and about as much fun. Good Luck (in life)

I know its early and all but we can't afford another slow start. It's buried us plenty of times in the past. -
Why you green-blooded, inhuman... sorry had to say that Edit: Oh wait another thing, aren't Vulcan's like smart and logical and stuff. He might be a Vulcan but if he is its a retarded one or something.

uh, your mom doesn't count. Oh yeah? How about the Future Throw? What if I am fielding a ball in the corner and I hit triangle to throw it to second. The ball goes to the cut off man and the guy has rounded second, so I should be able to throw it to 3rd. But OHHHH WAIT, FUTURE THROW has decided that once I hit triangle after the ball is hit, the ball must go to 2nd base and the runner takes third because a cutoff man cannot make a decision for himself because he is a f***ing android. Don't tell me you never hit future throw for the wrong base because you will be lying to yourself. If you don't pick a base the computer usually throws it home too. Why don't you go play the awesome trivia game? Lord knows that wasn't a waste of space on the game disc.

Caballo is a pop up machine!

Oooh, Maggs webgem, 2nd night in a row.

Just another fun fact to add to my list of things about the Cubs that make me quietly nose-laugh to myself.

KC no doubt. Anybody who wants Minnesota to have more wins in their column at the end of the year must be smokin' the Ganj.

Garland settling down nicely, look for some late inning fireworks from the ChiSox.

Hi, my name is Paul Konerko. Can I play with you guys now?
-
The point is not that they are unhittable. They are fast enough that you have to start to swing before the ball shows up on the screen in order to make good contact. Then you have to release X if the ball is out of the strike zone. Basically you check swing on every single pitch. As for flyballs, they drop in front of fielders that are camped under them. Also alot of times they catch the ball between their legs instead of over their head and they look like little league homos. Don't defend this game, it's a piece of trash and all the underachievers at Acclaim Sports know it. What next? Are you gonna start telling me how good the franchise mode in ASB is?

There was a sign or twenty that said "b****, u bettah stop that car or we gonna shoot yo' ass" in Arabic, sorry if my translation is not exact.

I guess God couldn't give the guy an arm this great without also giving him a name that was probably the punchline of countless jokes.

Agreed, basing my opinion on ASB 2003. The fastballs are usually too fast where you have to check swing on every pitch if you want a chance of making good contact. Yes I hit homeruns, but only with power guys, non-power guys will NEVER hit a homerun in this game i swear. Even if you put a guy who can hit 10HR a year in a homerun derby and sit dead-red and swing power cursor at fastballs they just can't elevate it out of the park. Also fielding in ASB2003 pretty much sucks too with the fly balls occasionally dropping in front of fielders. Need I mention that rounding first on a routine double often results in button mashing frustration. (It's ok cuz i got ASB 2003 for $19.95) Don't Buy ASB 2004.

I had Vazquez and Prior starting on my Fantasy team today combined line: 16IP 9H 2ER 0BB 26K 1HR

The whole article can be found here. Foulke is statistically one of the best guys on this list including Troy Percival and Mariano Rivera.

I don't know I haven't seen the measurements on his batspeed, but I don't think that is his only problem. He is always trying to work a walk making him by far the most patient hitter on our team. Unfortunately the secret is out that you basically can throw two cookies to Frank and not have him take a cut. Thomas has not been a very effective two strike hitter either. He does foul off a few but his plate protection is nowhere near the ability of Maggs to reach out and poke those outside fastballs and chop those inside cutters. Frank works himself into holes way too often when sometimes he needs to be more aggressive. I just wish Maggs could be more of an example where other guys are wanting to learn to approach an AB the way he does. Frank has always been a little stubborn and Maggs doesn't speak English that well so I guess that won't work out. God forbid Frank would swing at a first pitch fastball but at least I'd like to see him taking a few more swings at that 0-1 pitch that is usually also right down the middle. At least he isn't jumping out of the way of curveballs over the inside corner where he ends up jacknifing out of the batters box and getting called out on strikes simultaneously. I have quite a few ugly memories of that from the past 2 seasons.

And would it not be fitting for KC to lose to the team they have occupied the basement with for the past few years as their constant chum. I wouldn't mind the Tigers winning if it would wipe the smile of Joe Randa's face...wait never mind, that is not possible.

Well except for one little thing off in the bunghole of the universe's bunghole: the Cubs are 4-3
-
Off the top of my head some additions: Robert Fick Eric Milton Luis Rivas Jason Giambi Derek Jeter Cory Koskie Raul Ibanez Carlos Guillen Eddie Guardado Ichiro (even though I like him)
-
Yes for the record PK's play was not sweet. It was almost another defensive blooper to add to his growing highlight reel. But I'll take it. Winning ugly.
-
I'm not gonna make any rulings on Flash yet, he's not looked sharp but not altogether horrible either. He did get that big strikeout with 1 out on Matt Lawton instead of giving up a pussy sac fly.

It's time for Paul Konerko to Shut Up and Jam!

Overheard on Duckman (yes that old TV show about the private dick duck) "Because poking and prodding is what a dick does."

Cruel! and definitely unusual! I like it.
