  1. God damnit, the finale of Breaking Bad was epic. The scene when Walt was at the lab, and Mike was trying to convince him to go down below was insane. Wow. SPOILER OF LAST SCENE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SZXewpZIKo 3:00 - "6353 Wontabo. Apartment 6......YEAH" That s***'ll make the hair on your nuts stand up.
  2. QUOTE (DGSOXFan14 @ Jun 17, 2010 -> 01:24 AM) Looks like his family is very proud of him... enough to make a webpage dedicated to him. Jason McDonald Also, call up his parents and tell them that he should be playin in our organization rather that partying it up at ASU, although I love ASU lol From the looks of his hitting video, he has a pretty nice swing from both sides of the plate.
  3. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 11:12 PM) It's nice to be winning games we should be winning. Yeah. The Indians are no better than these NL teams, yet we can't beat them at all.
  4. Brandon Short went 1-3 with 3 BB? Really? 25% of his BB on the year came tonight. lol.
  5. Screw it, just do Rios, Danks, and Patrick Kane holding up the Cup in the middle.
  6. Chris Rose was just interviewing Ryan Theriot vs. Skype on his show "Cheap Seats", and he said AJ was on his way over. I guess Theriot and AJ are pretty good friends and live down the street from eachother. AJ left something at his house and was coming back to grab it. Theriot says "Here is Mr. 10-and-5 right here". He made it seem like AJ had been really stressing all weekend about that is relieved he made it to Monday. I wonder if this means he would veto a trade unless he really went to a team he wanted to.
  7. Quite the speculation there. I think it would be more likely if AJ is the one who is being traded right now, and he is going to say his goodbyes to each person individually. However, still believe it's a reach.
  8. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 08:49 PM) He has to loose his next turn. Could Be, IMO.
  9. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 08:33 PM) How many games do we have left against teams from the sissy league? 10 more.
  10. Come on Rios, steal 3rd and make s*** interesting.
  11. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 08:21 PM) I really am starting to wonder if the Sox would be a lot better in the NL What does being 6-2 tell ya?
  12. Paulie is batting .413 in June with 13 RBI. Now if he can get his power up, he'll have a great shot at AL POTM.
  13. So what's the HR line? Over that little fence thing above the wall?
  14. QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 05:16 PM) Yes and yes. There will be some of last years draftees on both teams plus some from the DSL team, but there will also be lots of '10 draft picks. Great Falls play their first game on the 21, Bristol the 22nd. Cool. Now I will have another team to follow besides Charlotte.
  15. If it's a big deal, I hope Hudson comes up and Kenny doesn't think "Well s***, let's go get Oswalt!"
  16. If you have never been to hittrackeronline.com, I advise you do. It's a pretty cool site that tracks homerun distances. Anyway, the Sox have been hitting a lot of HR, but not many bombs. And the sad thing is, look at who is at the top of our "distance HRs"..... Mark Kotsay - 439 feet (5/17) Brent Lillibridge - 428 (6/9) Then we finally get to Rios and Konerko who matched each other with 421 shots..... and then.... Alexei Ramirez - 420 feet Donny Lucy - 419 feet Nothing to make of this, it's just sort of interesting that 4 of our top 6 furthest HR were hit by non-HR hitters and guys that barely weigh more than 150 pounds. PS: Jason Heyward has the furthest HR this year at 476 that he hit on opening day vs. the Cubs in his first major league AB.
  17. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 02:31 PM) Funny you quote a college student when you say that... Well if he is a college kid, then he should have a good understanding for Chappelle show references.
  18. Does Bristol and Great Falls start their season sometime this month? And is it usually just filled with the draftees?
  19. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 11:03 AM) I don't know. He's really pushing this nickname and it doesn't make a lot of sense to most of us. You guys are so old! lol.
  20. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 12:15 AM) Dayan is beasting, right now. HoT FiRe
  21. Awesome that Petricka, Reed, and Royce all signed already. Let's get those guys in the system as soon as possible.
  22. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 15, 2010 -> 08:19 PM) I would like to see Bobby Jenks hit. Just once. I bet he is the Prince Fielder of pitchers batting.
  23. Gordon Beckham was Mr. Big Bopper High Chopper.
