It won't happen, but if Buehrle pulled a Moyer and won the same amount of games Moyer did from age 32 on, Buehrle would win over 350 games. That's mind boggling.
I just wanted to point out Mark Buehrle was called up to the Sox 10 years ago today.
There has been some rough patches over the years, but overall it's been great to witness:
143 wins
2 no-hitters, incl. a perfect game
3 division titles
1 World Series win incl. the Game 3 save
Thanks for 10 years, #56.
Greg Walker was on with Rongey over the weekend, and he said Gordon Beckham is back. He said before he was bad in batting practice, flip drills...everything. He saw progress a week or two ago and he told Ozzie, "He's back. I don't know when he'll start hitting in games, but he's got it." Sure enough, he's back. If Gordon can work his way back to the 2-spot, we're going to be real dangerous.

I thought the same thing. Definitely thought they would of gone Pavano, Liriano to start the 2nd half. Maybe the pitching match ups line up a certain way for them in the upcoming weeks this way.
Pavano started Sunday. So they were not going to pitch him on 3 days rest.

Looks like there were lots of players moved around over the ASB. Silverio and Buch were both moved up to Kanny, Leesman moved up to B-Ham, those are just the ones that i noticed.
Sorry if this is posted somewhere else, but Carlos Torres is starting the AAA All-Star Game tonight. It's on MLB Network.

Based on the schedule that's set up, are you comfortable with Hudson getting these 14 starts:
7-19 at Sea
7-25 at Oak
7-30 vs Oak
8-4 at Det
8-10 vs Min
8-15 vs Det
8-21 at KC
8-27 vs NY
9-1 at Cle
9-7 at Det
9-12 vs KC
9-18 vs Det
9-25 at Ana
9-30 vs Bos
He's not even going to be stretched out enough in the minors to start in the majors. Don't be daft. If he comes up, he'll be a situational lefty reliever. That's his role in 2010. In 2011, he'll start.
Sale got roughed up a little. Looks like the defense let him down, too.
Bellamy needs to be moved up. Why he's not in Birmingham by now, I have no idea.
Law is off, but the proof will be in the last 75 games. With 14 against the Tigers and 13 against the Twins, the division is in their control. The best team will come out on top.
First place and the Sox are under .500 against AL opponents (34-35), and AL Central opponents (16-17).
That'll change for the better, but kind of interesting I think.
