Maybe all the teams should go out and hire some people to go and watch other teams players and games and the minors players and games and provide some insight that could be used along with all these stats to make all these decisions.

I can see Pete Rose's reinstatement campaign getting ready for this right now.

Since we will likely be carrying 12 pitchers I think we will probably make a minor trade for a young lefty with untapped potential to replace Marte. Kinda the same way we brought in Marte. We have to have faith in the scouting dept. now.

It's to bad things wouldn't work with Lofton. I think he would be a good replacement for Timo as a fourth outfielder and insurance in case the rookies fall flat. Bernie Williams would be another option but I can't see that happening. If we are going with Anderson in CF I really beleive that we need someone to replace Timo as the back up.
