Who's making out the lineup card? Palacios is a starter and batting cleanup and then cut a day later (and not the only one that has happened to). Who's putting Capra in the lineup?

Who's fault is that? And don't fucking give me Hahn. Most of us know who Getz the blame for our sorry ass bench.

- Arlington Heights making stadium pitch to White Sox?
I would say so if the rumors are true that the Missouri offer is capped for total dollars. I think it was $1.2B for a new Royals stadium and $500M on the Chiefs renovation.- Ishbia taking control by 2029?
That's gold. This one made me laugh the most. • Getz indicated Ben Hansen’s full-time role with the White Sox as a senior biomechanical engineer is an upgrade over his previous work with the club, as the team contracted with him when he was still chief technology officer with Motus Global. They view Hansen’s work as a route to both injury prevention and performance improvement.- Ishbia taking control by 2029?
Certainly not when he was Director of Player Development or Assistant GM.- Ishbia taking control by 2029?
Apparently, Forbes doesn't. The Braves' 10-K doesn't remotely tie to Forbes. And I'm going to take the 10-K more seriously than some undocumented calculation from Forbes. https://www.bravesholdings.com/investors/financial-information/sec-filings/content/0001558370-25-002009/0001558370-25-002009.pdf- Ishbia taking control by 2029?
The Braves paid $125M in SG&A last year. And that’s public info, so as accurate as you can get. So unless JR is taking $50M in compensation to be BMOC no way they spent $175M.- Ishbia taking control by 2029?
Not a $175M. Come on, I know you are smarter than that.- Ishbia taking control by 2029?
How the f*** did they lose $15M on a $140M payroll with $315M in revenue?- Ishbia taking control by 2029?
The Sox only lost Comcast/NBC last October. They're taking a hit this year. Each team was getting, at least, $200M in revenue sharing each year thru 2023 (it probably dropped a bit in 2024 because a few teams lost their RSN).- Ishbia taking control by 2029?
And they contributed, roughly, $175M to the ballpark.- Ishbia taking control by 2029?
The problem is the Pohlad's were baking in a significant portion of their $.5B debt into the asking price.- Column on "rebuilding"...
And the guy, supposedly, in charge has a track record of nothing but suckage. I know, I know....we need to give Getz more time because everything wrong is the fault of the previous regime and Getz had nothing to do with that.🙄- Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
Knowing Getz and JR it's probably more like the Mets kick in $7.5M and we trade Robert & Sosa for Marte.- Thank God for the Rockies
Those 4 were 40 games below water vs. teams .500 or better last year and are under water again this year. Does anyone really think the Tigers are the best team in baseball since last July/August? Stats are fun....- Sox sign Altavilla
I hope you're (not that I'm saying I've seen you use it) not going to use the old it's not even 6/30 yet so it's too early to tell and then once 7/1 flips it's all water under the bridge and quit your bitching argument.- Thank God for the Rockies
- Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
I said weren't getting anything meaningful. I'd rather take a shot on developing some 95 mph thrower that can't hit the side of a barn over someone who has a ceiling of a banjo hitting utility guy. There's a zero chance we turn a no-hit guy into something, but there's a non-zero chance we could develop a pitcher.- Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
Does it matter? We should have done better in trade (not saying we were getting anything worthwhile). But seriously, Baker has an extremely tiny chance at a ceiling of a RH hitting Getz. Getz always gets his guys.....- What's the bullpen solution (knowing JR will never spend here)...?
Don't worry. We have Mike McDougal's kid waiting in the wings to save the day.- 5/15 Sox at Reds (11:40 am)
20 innings in 7 weeks? Color me unimpressed with the signing. Ozzie's Sunday/get away day lineups let the vets get a rest (and he did it way too much). I don't think Chase and Quero need a breather today.- All things LA Dodgers Thread...
Or they'll just trade a couple of the plethora of prospects for Framber/L. Castillo, ect. Their rotation already goes 10 deep.
