QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:44 PM) Heres a supposed screen shot of the tax s***, no idea what were looking at besides a Chicago address but passing along anyway: http://yfrog.com/50lebronpropj Uh, nothing on there says anything about LeBron James. I just see lots of money, but that could be anyone's.

Peavy Done for Year; Marquez Up
Yeah I was thinking about the mechanics bit yesterday after I heard it was a lat muscle. But at that point, I thought it might have been a couple of weeks to a month and that maybe he would rush himself back. Not the case with this one IMO.

We really need Hudson to step up now. Guys, we had a similar staff in 08 with no 5th starter and we were able to win the thing that year. It's nowhere near f***ing over.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:11 PM) Keep in mind that the Nets wanted Boozer too. This could have turned into a bidding war, but it didn't. There's something at play here. I agree. Boozer could have signed for the max. The Bulls must have really sold him on playing with LeBron again or something of that sort.

I know Amar'e is better than Boozer, but god damn, the Knicks overpaid. We're getting a comparable player at $20 million less.

The possibility of a sign and trade is still there for Boozer. The Jazz might want something back. Dump them with Deng's contract.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:01 PM) If he's leaving anyway, might as well get something for him. Doesn't really matter either way. I don't think they want Deng's contract.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:58 PM) dumb question, why no sign and trade for lebron so he can get the max? out of the question? ship deng, taj, (anyone) picks, trade exception and all? If Cleveland did that, they won't sell out any games and their fans will despise them forever.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:57 PM) Not a chance. Deng is gone if LeBron is here. That Portland or Magic/Clippers deal will do just nicely. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't mind seeing Bayless at SG if it came down to that though I don't like short SG. Insane athleticism on that kid though. Deng won't be gone this year per say. But down the road, he's a dead duck.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:57 PM) Don't quote me on this but i believe that the Bulls still have room for a MAX. This is a great move regardless. They do. They're going to pay Boozer around $13 million this year. Pay increases after that, gathering up to $80 million over 5 years.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:56 PM) He is... we're talking 20 points, 11 boards, 56% shooting. I like Boozer when he's healthy. I don't when he's hurt with some stupid nagging injury anybody else would play with.

Paying a 33 year old Carlos Boozer $18 million is going to be VERY ugly.

I've been wanting Boozer since last off-season. But after all this, I didn't want him THAT much...

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:50 PM) This contract is going to be laughably bad by the end of the deal. Hopefully they land Lebron. Depending on the contract's structure, they might not have room for him unless they trade off a $4-5 million.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:44 PM) Well, they were swinging for the fences based on information they have been getting all along. Swinging for the fences would be getting both Wade and LeBron.

Maybe because Kenny is going to trade Hudson. After all, the Sox were "all over" Dunn.
