It is the best school in the MVC and in Illinois. Oh, how I wish I went to Illinois State and not Bradley. Bloomington and Normal are the greatest college towns ever, and I am so ashamed that my dorm is only seven stories and not twenty-two. I also wish my school had its own farm. GO REDBIRDS! Witchita State ain't bad, and Indiana State had Larry Bird about a million years ago, but there's not much more. A lot has to go right for the '03 Sox for them to be serious contenders. As I see it, if they keep the nucleus that they have right now together, they are maybe 1-2 years and 1-2 players away from being really solid. Right now, I don't think they are anything more than an 85-90 win team.

Depends on the Twins and what they do. If the Twins won the most games in the American League this year, I wouldn't be shocked at all. As of now, I'd say the preseason American League power rankings are... 1) Yankees 2) Angels 3) Twins 4) Athletics 5) Red Sox 6) White Sox 7) Mariners 8) Indians 9) Rangers 10) Orioles 11) Blue Jays 12-14) Tigers, Royals, Devil Rays... Who cares? They all suck. Well I agree with you dub except I think were better than the Red Sox and it doesnt matter if were better than Oakland or not. We just have to be better than Minnesota, which I think we can be... Red Sox pitching > White Sox pitching They're close, but I'd take their staff and 'pen over ours and pitching wins.

I thought you we're going to take a shot at me Doub. I know you love a good political discussion. Actually, I agree with you, Ian. I think violently protesting a war is idiotically ironic and it completely undermines all of us war protestors who think we can get our point across without having to blow up whatever we can get our hands on. That said and I think that all us anti-warhawks are more patriotic and more pro-military in the fact that we don't want to send our troops to Iraq so Bush and his oil CEO buddies can go and get some fat profits.

God forbid someone speak ill of the U.S. and question the integrity of some of our decisions. True, calling us a "terrorist nation" is a bit extreme, but the reality of the situation is that the actions taken by America in propelling its own self-interest are responsible for many, many more deaths than any actions taken by terrorist cells. "America.... Love it or leave it..." The most anti-American statement, EVER. You know, there are reasons why people don't like us.
