  1. Less than 200 plate appearances but he was good vs LHP last year: .293 .341 .484 for an .OPS of .825. He has a wOBA of .354 and a 128 wRC+. 105 lifetime wRC+ vs LHP.
  2. QUOTE (LDF @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 07:25 PM) exactly, i wasn't going to go there. since my ummm hatred may have cloud my opinion. He's doing his job. The man would be my agent if I were in MLB
  3. QUOTE (LDF @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 07:17 PM) and is that worth 25 mil per which Davis group turned down??? It's Boras. Gonna be awhile.
  4. If the Sox were willing to move Tim Anderson they could probably do better than Frazier. I know the win now crowd is ready but I couldn't trade Anderson for two years of Todd Frazier when you have other glaring holes on the roster.
  5. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 02:25 PM) Ken Rosenthal ‏@Ken_Rosenthal 32s32 seconds ago Source: #Mets agree to trade Niese to #Pirates for Walker, pending medical reviews. I bet Niese is really god in Pittsburgh. Searage and that defense get the most out of guys. Walker is solid but Pirates will go with Josh Harrison at 2B, Mercer at SS, and Kang at 3B
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 02:17 PM) Phil Rogers ‏@philgrogers 2m2 minutes ago Nashville, TN Source: Reds have asked White Sox for No. 1 prospect Tin Anderson in talks regarding Todd Frazier. Seems an unlikely match. #Reds WhiteSox Yeah I can't see them doing that.
  7. QUOTE (greg775 @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 01:32 PM) How bout getting semien back for a pitcher? DH spot isn't open.
  8. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 01:17 PM) Not sure if this has been addressed in this thread, but why is Oakland trading Lawrie? They picked up Jed Lowrie to play 3B
  9. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 12:53 PM) He's my favorite non sox player, therefore don't want to see him on a rival. I've always liked the guy. The Cubs aren't a rival.
  10. QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 10:31 AM) Have been told White Sox checked in on numerous impact third base and outfield trade options. Return starts with Anderson and even Quintana https://twitter.com/scottmerkin/status/674626089172508672 Not surprised. I would imagine those names are Carlos Gonzalez and Todd Frazier
  11. Sox not ready to deal yet according to Susan Slusser....... http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/12/whit...wrie-trade.html
  12. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 08:42 AM) I would like to see Avi go back to AAA and work on some things. I guess that's just me wishing he'd breakout. He's always going to be poor defensively though. I just fear that he'll never hit enough to justify bad defense.
  13. I would do Engel and Avisail in a heartbeat
  14. Why are people bringing up Josh Reddick? His name hasn't been mentioned anywhere.
  15. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 12:23 PM) Question, with the emergence of Willie Young and Lamarr Houston in the last 3-5 weeks. Do you keep them for next year? I think if they just add some more down lineman like Derek Wolfe, Malik Jackson, or Muhammad Wilkerson, it would make the pass rush better. Not to mention that Goldman has been an absolute beast this year. Addressing the DL in the FA and keeping Young and Houston could make the Bears focus on ILB, secondary, and OL help in the draft. In terms of cuts, I think Rolle and Bushrod could/should be cut. Mike Daniels of the Packers should be their #1 target in free agency. He's been studly this year. I also expect Danny Trevathan to be a Bear.
  16. It will be a little sting but I'll guess that it's Jacob May and Jordan Guerrero.
  17. I know that LaRussa and Duncan love Shelby Miller though. That part hasn't really been mentioned.
  18. Diamondbacks are drunk. And John Hart knows how to build a baseball team.
  19. QUOTE (dpd9189 @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 12:14 PM) There would be more than just Rodon. If it was only Rodon I'd pack his bags and drive him to O'Hare right now. I think I'd rather have Rodon than Fernandez going forward honestly.
  20. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 10:58 AM) Hahn did speak about if they signed player the Sox would be looking for a back loaded deal beyond '16 when Danks/LaRoche contracts are done but that different than what Knightengale said about LaRoche and why the Sox are looking to trade him. I don't doubt the Sox are looking to move LaRoche, I doubt Knightengale's reason seeing as how the Sox will have to eat money in order save just a bit. Trading LaRoche is about opening up the DH spot. Open up the DH spot and the Sox have more flexibility. Melky goes to DH, RF goes to Thompson, LF goes to Avi or FA/trade bat. Hell, the Sox would be able to platoon Avi/Melky at DH. I like LaRoche as a person but he isnclogging up the DH spot and suffocating the teams flexibility. Eaton should go to LF and Trayce to CF in they could somehow move LaRoche.
  21. I'd actually rather keep Laroche and bet on a bounce back year than dump his contract for nothing. It doesn't make sense. White Sox are not going to eat most of the deal and then spend $$ on someone else. That's not how they operate.
  22. QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 10:25 AM) Teams are targeting SS Tim Anderson, #White Sox's No. 1 prospect, as well as pitching prospects in trade talks. https://twitter.com/philgrogers/status/674263367234789376 Can we stop posting the opinions of Phil Rogers? Of course teams are asking for Anderson.
  23. QUOTE (Hatchetman @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 09:50 AM) I was only counting deals when Hahn was "officially" the GM, whatever that means. who knows who is responsible for anything. Hahn was the GM that re-signed Sale, Q, and Eaton. Hahn has been the contract negotiator for the last 10 years though.
  24. QUOTE (shysocks @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 09:49 AM) For real. Cards have Wong at 2B so I guess they'll move Gyorko to short? I wouldn't want Gyorko on the Sox, and we have all kinds of room for him in the infield. They have Peralta at SS
  25. QUOTE (Hatchetman @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 09:41 AM) He's gotten a pass due to Abreu, but that is not a lifetime pass, I hope. Well and the phenomal deals that Sale and Quintana are signed to. He's a magician for those. Eaton's contract is a bargain too.
