I mocked him in my latest. Usually I’m opposed to prep catching but the bat will play in an outfield corner so it’s worth it in my opinion. I’d prefer Houck, Miller or Nimmala still. Could be a college bat though. Someone will fall to them.

Probably a dead arm period. They need to get him stretched out as much as possible because he’ll be starting next year imo. I’d start with using him as an opener for Lynn’s starts

Disagree. Lucas Giolito will bring back something significant. Kelly, Graveman and Middleton could bring back a decent return too.

I like the guys and strategy. Schultz was a super high upside guy in 1st. But they followed it up with a high upside, injured college starter in Pallette and then insulated with more high floor pitching like Cannon and Schweitzer. Eric Adler is electric out of bullpen and he’ll be in majors if he throws strikes. Guys like Jacob Burke, Shane Murphy are interesting on day three too. I like that they mostly played it straight and didn’t punt like 4-10.

It's mostly baseball and hockey. Absolutely brutal. Their football coverage is awesome though.

If Dollander is there I’d run the card in.

I get that. I’m just not sure that guy exists at 15 in this draft. They can easily do that in rounds 3-20. I like what they accomplished last year

I’d much prefer Shaw or Troy to a definite corner type. I really hope they take a prep bat. I’d rather take Head way underslot than many of the college options

Highly doubt it. Trade activity won’t pick up until after the all star break because of the draft being moved. It’s what front offices are focused on.

Ken Williams and Rick Hahn would’ve loved to sign Harper or Machado. Jerry Reinsdorf doesn’t believe in giving baseball players $300 million. That off-season had nothing to do with Hahn/KW. It would’ve been better if they just targeted actually attainable players instead and stopped wasting all of our time.

I get it. Game changing speed just doesn’t do much for me when it comes with max 40 power and low exit velo numbers. Sox just aren’t the org to maximize Bradfield. Now if it’s Chase Davis…
