I like this very pro White Sox version of Keith Law.

Interesting trade. Doesn’t really help with the roster crunch. Definitely feels like this is just to add some AAA depth with several guys moving out of the rotation.

That would he a sweet outcome. My guess though is we are looking prospects who are closer to org guys. Hope I’m wrong and pleasantly surprised with a bit more than that.

Was going to ask if anyone knows how he is behind the plate because he’s putting up big numbers and for a catcher I don’t think 23 is crazy old for High A. He was an undrafted free agent so couldn’t find much about him on Baseball America.

Fucking huge

Has he fallen off or is it just normal baseball streakiness? He’s a short side platoon player so not exactly huge sample sizes.

I think rehab assignments can last 20 days so basically you can call up one and let the other stay in AAA until the deadline. You’d still have to trade or DFA one of them, but having an seven or eight days would be valuable.

They should probably leave one in AAA until the deadline. It’s going to be an awkward scenario because they know there isn’t room for both of them so not sure how they communicate who gets priority when the time comes.

People continue ignoring this and simply overreact to streaks. The offense is going through a power outage, once that changes so will the optimism around this team. Personally, I have been very happy with the pitching as of late. The bullpen is really coming together and Martin looks like a solid #3 SP even if his ace like run in the 1H was unstainable. This team is legit and is a few moves away from being serious contenders. We need to buy buy buy.

I assume it’s including recent draftees. The back end of our top 10 excluding them should all be in play for upgrades.
