I agree with your assessment of Cordell’s offensive game at Charlotte. It’s definitely filled with red flags (SSS admittedly). That being said, he’s a significant upgrade with the glove over Palka and that alone will add value. As for the other options, Tilson isn’t on the 40 man roster and Nicky would likely be a liability in RF. For better or worse, I think Cordell deserves the first shot here and he most definitely has the most upside of all the options.

Them and the Kanny lineup struggling has really made following the minor league teams a lot less fun this year. It’s honesty feels like we have three legit positonal prospects at the moment (Robert, Madrigal, & Collins). Walker has done fairly well so far, but should be in High A in all honesty. The good news is these guys can only get better and at some point Basabe & Burger will be back in action.

I think people are confusing two things here. It’s one thing to not like seeing a guy celebrate at your expense (who can blame them). It’s a whole different animal to feel compelled to throw a baseball at them in retaliation. Keller doesn’t have to enjoy Timmy’s emotion, but he’s a pretty big b**** to throw a 90+ MPH fastball at him cause he feels disrespected, especially when Tim doesn’t get the opportunity to throw one back at him. Pitchers feel this underserved sense of power because they’re the only ones who can “accidentally” hit an opponent and that’s a huge fucking problem.
