  1. The Braves are hot like we are, this will be a good indicator on where we are.
  2. Beckham has a solid game. Lets see (and I hope) if he can have a few more this week like that.
  3. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 15, 2010 -> 06:43 PM) I don't care about his philosophy, i care about the results. The facts are that we haven't hit worth a damn since 2006, someone should take the fall for that.
  4. In all seriousness, Id like Bobby Valentine.
  5. GM: Omar Minaya (so I can have my Latino dream team!!!!!!!1) Manager: Ross Gload
  6. O-Cab. It gave us a pretty solidly defensive infield with Crede, Uribe (for the start of the season) and Konerko. A solid #2 hitter with some speed and could actually bunt, plus he was able to lead off after Swisher proved he couldn't.
  7. CJ Retherford is the starting third basemen in Charlotte. If anything I can see him (and others) for Gordon. But, I'd rather take my chances with CJ. Granted both are risks with one being a prospect and one being a bust. But still.
  8. I think keeping D2 is the solution. They want to play on a team together.
  9. Go to games by myself most of the time. More fun that way.
  10. Cowley is the f***ing man. EDIT: That Toronto Radio guy was a real asshole.
  11. Its impossible to predict Podsednik's success back in Chicago. Different situations everyday just because he's playing well for KC doesn't mean he'd play well here.
  12. I doubt Ozzie goes anywhere, but if they do axe him. I'd like Willie Randolf to replace him.
  13. Walkers never getting axed. The Sox are loyal to a fault. Not a bad thing in most cases, but in regards to Walker it is. It really is.
  14. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Apr 6, 2010 -> 01:28 PM) Awesome. I totally enjoyed the pictures, especially the Blackhawks....very cool! Get with times man!!!!!!!
  15. I'm praying for no rain. We need Peavy to hopefully dominate on a national audience!
  16. QUOTE (Lillian @ Apr 7, 2010 -> 04:19 AM) One other point which argues quite strongly for Jones over Kotsay: The upside potential of Jones is far greater than it is for Kotsay. There is a realistic chance that Jones could be a very productive run producer, and that makes playing him worth a shot. Kotsay at his best, would still never be a big run producer. My thoughts as well.
  17. Great game. Everything went our way. We hit, ran, pitched and defended well. I'm glad to see the offense carry over from the Braves series and I hope that this is going to set the trend for the season. However, it was just the AAA Cleveland Indians.
