This seems to be one of the high ceiling "SIGNED" draft classes we have had in a long time. Let's hope this pans out. Love the new system.

Agreed, glad we are back in the Dominican signing some players to boost the system. The new rules will really help us in this area as well.

Is there a slotting system in place for picks after the 11th round? Do teams get penalized if they spend over a certain amount?

Not sure how this year's draft class will turn out, but the new system has to be advantageous to the Sox and for us. No more agonizing all summer if we are going to sign Grimes, Morgado, Gardeck etc......
