I happened to be taking my family on a road trip and Thursday night we stopped in Little Rock AK and watched the AK Travelers play, Mike Trout lead off and looked good, just so happened he was called up that night. It was cool to see, he is going to be a stud, remember how hyped we were at the time for the Mitchell pick.........

The supplemental picks are also starting to sign, and with the slotting system, he knows what he is going to get. Especially now that we know that he is playing, get the contract signed and report to Great Falls/Bristol/Kanny...........

I'm surprised Walker has not signed already as I would have thought the scouting staff would have known what the asking price is and what they were getting into with negotiations. With that, in case it happens, do teams get draft picks the following year as compensation if supplemental picks do not sign?

With the "Poreda" watch this week, can anyone shed some light on a question for me? If someone is on the 40-man roster do they get paid the major league minimum? I was in Memphis last year and Timo Perez was playing for the opposing team and someone said he is making six figures, how can that be?
