After an exhaustive search, Getz named GM/VP
This organization makes me so tired, you guys. It's exhausting to be a fan right now.

Reinsdorf considers moving White Sox out of Guaranteed Rate Field or selling team
If we're moving the team to the suburbs, The Village of Bedford Park has an opportunity to do the funniest thing right now.

Reinsdorf considers moving White Sox out of Guaranteed Rate Field or selling team
Look, I want Jerry as far away from this club as anyone. But I absolutely do not want them moving to Nashville, Charlotte, etc wherever. I haven't lived in Chicagoland in 20 years but it will forever be my anchor. I've been a remote fan dealing with pirated feeds and/or overpriced MLB TV packages forever, so it's not like I can pop over to the stadium whenever I want. But this team means something, still. *Where* it is means something. They can lose, they can suck, I can hate any number of players/coaches/FO staff etc, but it will always be more than that. Moving the team out of Chicago will just be too much. I don't want to lose that.

Sox conducting internal interviews to see if dramatic changes are needed
The ones responsible for firing people are the ones who deserve to be fired. This is such a stupid premise.

Would You Take a Chance
Baez is closer to a DFA candidate than a trade candidate.

Betts calls out White Sox for not defending Tim Anderson after KO punch, D Backs have team meeting about protocols for similar situations
Man, can you imagine what kind of team we would put on the field if half the guys got suspended? That would've been entertaining in a "how bad will this get" kind of way.

Fire Pedro Grifol
Birds of a feather.

Fire Rick Hahn
- None of this would happen under Ozzie
We're getting Madrigal revisionist history now too.- Mark DeRosa for Manager
Hell yeah, fully on board. Understands the traditional game, unwritten rules, etc but also willing to shake things up to see what works. Also important, he doesn't have any of the Sox institutional stench on him (though that probably also disqualifies him from actually getting a job here).- Keynan Middleton rips White Sox 'no rules' culture
Come on, Lance, spread it on. We need more. Burn it down.- 2024 MLB Draft Order (Reverse Standings)
Sad state of affairs when a thread about the race to the bottom is the most positive thread on the home page right now.- Who Are we Cheering For?
3rd-worst record in baseball to get even odds at the top draft pick.- Fire Rick Hahn
On a team that has failed to compete because we have no depth, we traded our only depth piece in Burger. And now want to compete.- Grade Rick Hahn's Trade Deadline Performance
C. More half measures means a half-way grade. Great early moves to bring in some intriguing pieces for the future. But then didn't complete the job and held onto pieces thinking they can compete for the "now" (2024). Once again, can't pick a direction and commit to it.- Fegan on Score @1225 pm to discuss Sox remaining moves
Hold on, when did Heyman say that?- Clevinger Activated, Navarro and Shaw Called up
How does the claim order work for subsequent players if we do claim someone? Meaning, do we stay the same place in the order for the next players, or are we dropped lower in the order as a result of having already claimed someone?- White Sox Baseball is like . . .
White Sox baseball is like a box of unlabeled chocolates... ... and you're allergic to nuts. You know that one of these days it will kill you but you keep coming back for more.- Giolito & Reynaldo to LAA. Update: Angels put on waivers
I don't know if I buy this. Something to be said about being first and identifying a desperate team (Angels) to set the market, rather than sitting back and thinking we're going to outsmart everyone and get a great deal (Harper and Machado), then left with nothing to show for it.- GT 7/26: CUBS @ SOX, 7:10 pm CT, NBCSC
The only thing making White Sox baseball watchable at this point is the "hug watch" to see who gets traded in the middle of the game.- Diekman's rebirth or the Sox ruin another player
Oh god, why does this sound exactly like how we handled Gordon Beckham.- 7/18- White Sox at Mets, 6:10
Ok, that's enough confidence he's given out...- 7/18- White Sox at Mets, 6:10
Nah, Gio's playing 4D chess - give the Mets a win and confidence so they won't be sellers, ensuring that he's still the top pitcher available in the trade market. - None of this would happen under Ozzie
