I'm still trying to figure out what Sox gained by waiving Kevan Smith.

Segura has been a part of a lot of big trades in short career. Angels, Brewers, Dbacks, Mariners, Phillies.

Hoffman had a terrible year. Davidson is a better pitcher. That said, Rockies have a few really good looking prospects, including two third sackers. Both GM's are Harvard grads. They might even be related. There should be a deal there somewhere.

Pretty similar, actually. Probably better defense and can run a bit. I was comparing Patterson more to guys like Cordell, Tilson, Delmonico, maybe even Davidson, all of whom are on the 40 man.

He has better offensive potential than at least 4 guys on our 40 man roster. Just sayin'.

Don't know where else to put this, but Rockies just DFA'd Jordan Patterson. 26 year old Left handed OF/1B with power (26 HR last two years). OPS in the .890's. Wake up, Hahn.
