I never bought the service time argument. If those two are as good as we all think they are, they will get offered generous extensions in 2-4 years. Every agent is not like Scott Boros, fortunately.

If you are signed before age 19, team controls the player for 5 years. Or something like that. Nunez should be safely put on Kanny's roster next year.

Interesting thought. I can't help wondering if Abreu would even clear waivers. If he would, Rox might be interested, but they would probably try to stick us with Rily Pint or Lambert. Not interested. Welker would be of interest, however. Rodgers is untouchable. This would be a deal between two Harvard Grads. Both GMs went there.

Great article, Jimmy. Really informative. I'm still surprised he lasted until Round 33. Not complaining though. As I recall, we have one poster who raved about Bush shortly after we drafted him. Who was that guy?
