  1. Sox have a bunch of exciting SS prospects. In no particular order, Quinteiro Sosa Delgado Rivera Curbelo. Next week Madrigal should be added to the list. Might have missed one or two.
  2. So, Northsider, are we gonna sign all four or not?
  3. Like refusing to hit a ground ball to the left side when all the infielders are on the right side?
  4. Maybe he was embarrassed for not knowing how many outs there were.
  5. Speaking of Abreu, he went 0 for 8 tonight, down to .273.

He probably thinks he is Ted Williams.
  7. Tray, that was a great read. Thanks. I remember seeing this story on TV, probably when he was running for Pres the first time (circa 2000), but this was far more detailed. Now they want a new stadium. Not sure why? Do you know?
  8. Smith's BA, OBP, and SLG% all identical.
  9. Other teams probably have the same dilemma.
  10. I always got Minaya and Infante mixed up.
  11. Rondon resembles Ron Northey.
  12. Second para says it all. Kopech needs consecutive starts at Charlotte to show he is ready. Up to him.
  13. Tatis is ranked a smooth #3.
  14. What's the deal with Steele?
  15. Reinvent Gio as a reliever.
  16. Routine
  17. No argument here. Wonder how long Fulmer would have lasted if Sox did not take him.....
  18. His head is flying up, too.

Like a lot of people my age, I have accumulated quite a few friends who are die hard Red Sox fans, partly because they never seem to die. They all discount Covey's performance Friday, saying Cora put out a minor league lineup. Next time they face Covey, Boston will have all the sluggers in lineup. Blah, blah.
  20. Reminds me of Roger Klemons, the HOF wannabe, who had a roomful of sons, all of whom were given a first name starting with letter K.
  21. Kind of surprised it was Beck who got the DFA treatment.
  22. Lillian, you spoke volumes in one simple post.
