  1. Everyone knows that it's great for culture when the GM says "I don't like our team" and then assembles the worst fielding team in the majors, the worst offensive team in the majors, and the 28th worst pitching team. All while on track to be the worst team in history. Edit: And he did all this while s%*# talking the division that proceeds to whoop their ass.

  3. I think that outside of Crochet and Robert, Korey Lee is my favorite storyline for so many reasons this year. One of Hahn's last acquisitions, mocked after his horrible stint last year (I also ragged on him). Absolutely wins a job out of spring training, but Getz signed the worst catcher in the league on top of trading for a vet who hadn't played in a year (for understandable reasons). Stassi hasn't played yet because of injuries. Lee massively outplays Maldonado, who is still the worst catcher in baseball. He even looks like he could compete with Quero to be catcher of the future. Pedro: "Team is fucking flat." Lee: "Ok. We disagree." Pedro: Continues to play Maldonado in bad situations. Fans: Beg for Korey Lee while running the #VoteMaldy campaign to embarrass the team.

Start Schultz in games, draft Jac Caglianone as a two-way player (most drafts have him going as purely a slugger) and have him piggyback Schultz.
  5. Probably a cliche, especially cause it's from a sports sitcom, but the line "it's their (fans) team, we're just borrowing it for a little white," from Ted Lasso slots in perfectly here. Barring horrendous luck, the manager/owner/chairman/etc. of your favorite team will change.

Prospects need to play in all environments. Birmingham is rougher for hitters than Charlotte and vice versa for pitchers. Chicago is supposedly good for hitters, so might as well let the pitchers learn in a crucible against shittier competition.

The starting pitching log jam is a good thing to have, but also, I feel like they can start moving some dudes to Charlotte.
  10. That Drohan roster move is wild to read
  11. Pick one! Squaring up in every thread like it's a fight to the death Your weird stance on a stadium that many feel would invigorate the team, where you constantly move goal posts. Currently telling us that we should now lay off the legacy of a guy who beat his wife. Currently telling us that we should now lay off the legacy of that same guy, who also expressed admiration for Hitler. This weird infantilization bullshit you do whenever someone disagrees with you. We're on a fucking message board. You're not attracting Gen Z to this platform. Meanwhile, to hop around the swear filter, you resort to ye olde text speak and will type out "dumb azz" sometimes. We get it, you want to type a-s-s. Just live with it. I could on and on, but frankly, #4 sticks in my craw, especially in modern times. I'm guessing your grandfather didn't have lifelong depression and PTSD because he stared the genocide of his people in the face by freeing one of the camps where his family was murdered. But Bobby Hull was so fucking cool to little Tray! My oldest memory is of a Frank Thomas home run from the 1995 season when I was 2-years-old. I know cause my parents said I never stopped saying how it went out of the stadium. If it turned out Frank supported a genocidal maniac, I'd be writing to the Sox to scrape #35 off of the stadium wall and melt the statue. Same for #3. f*** that noise.

On one hand, yes, gimme. On the other, I remember Eloy launching absolute bombs over scoreboards and the Durham bull. But so did Robert. Please be more Robert than Eloy.
  13. Yeah, Nastrini was wild, but I like when the young guys (and Fedde) get wins.
