He started out mega cold at AA and has just finally heated up. People assuming he'd reach the Sox this year (me among them) figured he'd have to get to Charlotte and prove it there. Now he's jumping two levels.

See, for me, Morneau has pedigree. It's like, Rodman was a fucking Bad Boy. Obviously Morneau only had a half season and flamed out, but he at least was someone once upon a time. I know the above was decimated to injuries, age and failing to live up prospect expectations, but holy hell. I don't know which talent collapse is worse between the lineup or the potential Gio-Rodon-Kopech-Cease-ReyLo/Dunning rotation.
