  1. Preller's dealer worried that the gravy train about to run dry.
  2. Colson moments before getting the game winning hit. Gave my dad a thumbs up. My dad was too amped to get a photo, but apparently he got a Gatorade bath
  3. Parental scouting report: "Montgomery looks flawless in the field."
  4. View from my parents $10 seats lol
  5. Anxiously awaits hot takes following Jake Eder's start for the Desert Dogs this evening.
  6. Do they still want to operate with the KW/Hahn method of sign over the hill vets? I can 100% see Chuck going "You know who the Sox should sign? Whit Merrifield." Or saying "Perez is a proven winner, it's what the Sox need." "Nicky Lopez sure is fast. Provides speed. Not really sure about this Jose Rodriguez kid." Chuck's "THE WHITE SOX JUST SIGNED EDWIN FREAKIN ENCARNACION" and sell job on Hanser Alberto stand out in recent memory. Sure, he's mad now, but the critique's come off as someone that invested in FTX upset that their money is gone. It's a big reason I dropped them from my podcast rotation. I also understand that they're pseudo-employed by the Sox.
  7. For how much people on this board complain about local media not asking the Sox tough questions, we sure do get plenty of threads about opinions from the Water Carry podcast.
  8. My wife loves Alex Caruso because of some cheesy Zenni ad he did with Coby. Then she just enjoyed his constant defensive energy and goofy dynamic on the court. She picked the perfect favorite player.
  9. DeMar with the ultimate f*** up. Bailed out by Caruso who is the glue guy to end all glue guys.
  10. The Baseball United League.
  11. God, I can't fucking wait for the Eder vs. Burger at-bat.
  12. Maybe he was a baseball guy suppressed by sabermetrics nerd Phil Nevin.
  13. Let's see what Angels fans are saying: Bonus input from Royals fans:
  14. They 100% should have gotten multiple prospects for Burger if they were going to trade him during a breakout season where, but Kenny clearly wanted him gone. But half of this board seems to now have a personal vendetta against Jake Eder, just like there used to be disgusting posts against Jake Burger.
  15. Jake Burger update... It's truly amazing that injured players sometimes improve, but here we are in the Jake Eder Is Trash And I Knew It All Along Thread #86
  16. Hiring Bochy was definitely not an unpopular stance in 2020 or 2022. In 2020, people fell into three camps: Hinch, Bochy or Ozzie In 2022: Espada, Bochy or Ozzie A lot people were fine with Espada/Hinch or Bochy.
  17. Honestly, the 2020 Sox are a good comp to the Dbacks - 2 top of the rotation pitchers - ROY caliber OF (Robert's falter down the stretch hurt him) - Young talent coming onto the scene And don't forget: Moncada was a #1 prospect. Eloy was highly ranked. Vaughn was. Cease had talent. Crochet came in throwing fire. Then they make the playoffs as a WC. They just didn't catch fire. (Obviously this is super reductionist and it isn't a 1 for 1 comparison)
  18. That's the Angels though The Phillies have a pennant and NLCS berth in back to back years
  19. No our plan is to hire him as pitching coach because this is how we find pitching coaches
  20. Bulls are likely gonna be not good / middling, but I'm gonna root for them anyway. Hopefully a developing Coby (he is still young after all) and Carter can help organize things.
  21. Is this some luminary observation that spending money is a bad move?
  22. Anyway, Mad Dog has to retire now.
