As for Flexen, well, once Cease is gone I'd literally rather give the following guys a shot over him: Soroka (youth, potential), Fedde (KBO reinvention, actual trade potential), Toussaint (youth, arb control), Kopech (what lingers of his potential, control), Scholtens (control), Shuster (lefty, youth, control), Nastrini (potential, youth, control), Mena (potential, youth, control), and even Eder (lefty, potential, youth, control) right now. Chris Flexen will turn 30 this season, is a bad right handed pitcher, can't strike anyone out and is an expiring deal. He's been with the team for one day and he's already scrap.

To be fair, I proposed a deal with only 1 top 100 guy (the Orioles #3 prospect at that) and you said that was too much.
