  1. That might be the closest I've ever seen to a flop in baseball.
  2. If you're talking about their content, that's based on your browsing history, which is why I get mostly MiLB teams (especially the Cannon Ballers' sick new hats). If you're talking about the amount, yeah, ads suck but that's what keeps a Soxtalk free space to discuss our team and other things.
  3. yet is doing a lot of heavy lifting in this sentence
  4. And despite all of this, Caleb has publicly embraced being a Bear from the moment he was drafted. Dude's neck deep in the culture, he just wants to win.
  5. I still believe in the Montgomery brothers.
  6. This is an actual jersey (or Bulls hat) you can buy (buyer beware however, the sites listing it aren't exactly top shelf)
  7. My grandmother-in-law was SO excited for the Orioles to be good again, so while I enjoy the schadenfreude watching the prospect hugging backfire on Elias - especially after all of those O's fans came here and argued they should only give up a Cal Ripken bobblehead for Cease - I'm also very annoyed at them for dicking around.
  8. Pray for Braden Montgomery to succeed because he could be a Surf & Turf accompanied with a bottle of champagne and baked alaska.
  9. Lenyn Sosa is beef wellington compared to what the Sox have trotted out at second for the longest time.
  10. The only theory that makes sense: Your Love by The Outfield is an absolutely elite walkup song.
  11. Vinnie still has years and years covering them, so while it sucks missing road games, he should still have his connections. The Sun-Times is suffering financially. It unfortunately makes sense for them to not burn resources on the Sox.
  12. I don't know how Beckham dodges the "all-time bust" Mt. Rushmore label amongst Sox fans who readily apply it to guys from the last rebuild. They had high prospect rankings (yes, Moncada), but Beckham was still #20, had a huge rookie season and people were calling him a future MVP. Jon Rauch, Joe Borchard and Beckham have to be grateful every day that guys like Moncada, Robert, Eloy and Kopech along with short-term memories have erased them from people's minds.
  13. Sosa recruiting Elly with that ass slap
  14. Bro why did you pull a 12 year old tweet from when Twitter was more innocent and people tweeted things like this. Once upon a time I posted on here that there was no way the Tatis trade would be that bad because how often do lotto tickets like that hit? Also James Shields would mentor Gio. Absolute crackpot s%*#, but it doesn't really have much bearing on my current view of the Sox; back then I was an eternal optimist, now I'm a lot more bitter outside of Pope Leo memes.
