  1. Just saw he had good stats, so gonna call this one "yoga" rage.
  2. Did he stop doing yoga?
  3. Nothing in Adam Engel's history implies he could be that. That's like saying you'll turn Daniel Palka into the Cincinnati version of Adam Dunn.
  4. The all-timer was Storm Throne, pitcher. Unfortunately, he sucked.
  5. They said the plan was to stretch him back out. He was also went through the same thing in college. He was a starter, in contention for 1-1 draft status, fell apart, got sent to the bullpen, Sox drafted him, was made a starter again, flourished, etc. He lost 40 lbs. last year, regained it this year. Hopefully he'll just continue to stretch out and be starting in AA by the end of the year. Also, speaking of players needing promotions like Walker, what about Gunnar Troutwine? Dude is slashing .379/.514/1.100. 8 walks to 9 strikeouts. Catchers throughout the system seem to be holding their own at the moment so it might be a log jam, but that's just about the best log jam to have.
  6. why bmags why
  7. It can be discussed on the FutureSox board. We want to try to avoid multiple threads on the same topic across boards.
  8. If we called each other untermensch in conversation, this might hold weight, but we don't. Instead, have you ever called a fellow Jewish person"Jew"? Cause that's the more apt comparison. I know I have, but I know I've has people call me a "Jew" and based on their tone, who they are, etc. that it was intended as a slur. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/22/opinion/reclaiming-jew.html
  9. Wait, you mean in meetings you don't take off your notepad, spike it on the ground and run at someone who made you mad yelling f-bombs? That's not normal?
  10. "They beat me and hurt my feelings. I should physically attack them." In baseball, this would command the death sentence. Your honor, I present my evidence that the Chicago Bears should be contracted.
  11. New unwritten rule: If you enforce an unwritten rule, the batter can charge the mound with a bat. Don't like it? Thems the unwritten rules.
  12. All reports say he has tremendous raw power. Elevating has been his only glaring flaw.
  13. Gavin Sheets putting the ball in the air becomes so, so much more interesting as a prospect.
  14. MLB made it the issue. And God, it sure does beat the 100th thread on Tatis.
  15. That's not really a thing. Example 1 of...so many.
  16. Out of context, it's a member of my uncle's Jewish fraternity hoarding cash. Using the Harper2Sox deduction method, you have no filter and should own up to it like Tim Anderson.
  17. Man, don't even make me bring up your avatar.
  18. What does your magical filter apply to?
  19. Broke so many rules.
  20. So, you don't actually care, right?
  21. Ok. Baseball's new unwritten rules say that shit is over. You can't say I'm wrong cause they're unwritten.
  22. Man, I'm really stuck in this. Tim Anderson doesn't have a filter. And you wanted Bryce Harper on the White Sox?
  23. This. This really is a joke. We had Chris Sale and Adam Eaton, who really couldn't filter themselves. Adam LaRoche retired because his little boy couldn't be on the field during drills. Angering the aforementioned players who would cut up jerseys they didn't like. Oh, let's not forget the unwritten rules which deem physical harm for showing emotion. If Tim Anderson can't filter himself, than half of baseball might as well be a broken Brita filter from 1966.
  24. Oh no. Whatever will we do?
  25. Is your name Randal?
