  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 20, 2013 -> 11:33 PM) Lillian just cummed.
  2. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 20, 2013 -> 05:56 PM) I don't have much sympathy for teams that have "world series heartbreaks" They have 11 titles. I don't feel sorry for them at all.
  3. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 20, 2013 -> 01:04 PM) It's pretty hilarious that everyone hates Cards fans now. I want to see every Cards fan down here miserable. The other day one of them told me Carlos Martinez for Sale is a fair trade and Wacha for Sale straight up is incredibly lopsided in the Sox favor. f*** them and they're players that they overrate. Go Peavy.
  4. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 20, 2013 -> 12:28 PM) I think Kung Fu Panda is a possibility. I'd be on board for Santiago-Gordon for Kung Fu Panda and placing Semien at the vacant spot. /time for Quin's needless pipe dream Sign him to an extension. Sign McCann. Sign Ellsbury. Adding those three plus Abreu puts people in seats. CF - Ellsbury SS - Alexei DH - Dunn 1B - Abreu C - McCann RF - Avisail 3B - Sandoval LF - Dayan 2B - Semien Bench: Garcia, Phegley, Danks, and Conor. Try to ship Keppinger and De Aza for whatever you can get. Roll with... Sale - Quintana - Danks - Johnson - Rienzo with someone like Floyd signed to a AAA spot in case Rienzo or Johnson don't perform.
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 20, 2013 -> 12:46 AM) See, the few people who accuse me of being a troll should consider what you just wrote. And they should remember your post forever. Maybe greg actually has COMMON, not radical opinions? Is that possible? My takes appear to be that of the 90 percenters.
  6. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Oct 18, 2013 -> 11:49 PM) Law was a part of the Jays during the Sirotka deal, right? Yes. But he is also just a bad analyst.
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 18, 2013 -> 07:36 PM) Starting pitching? Does this guy watch baseball? That was an awful write up.
  8. God I want McCann. Having Dunn-Abreu-McCann-AviGar in a row could be lethal.
  9. Abreu hitting behind Dunn would get him to see a lot of pitches and with Dunn's batting eye, that could cause a huge difference.
  10. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 18, 2013 -> 12:54 PM) Cespedes said it Was about to post that. Cespedes has a better idea of Abreu than most scouts. Also, I can see PK being hitting coach in 2 or 3 years. Take some time off with his family. He's made over $100M so he'll be fine and should enjoy some retirement.
  11. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 18, 2013 -> 12:16 PM) Your browser does not support iframes. Your browser does not support iframes. Your browser does not support iframes. Those look like weak pop-ups off the bat. Dear god I hadn't actually seen his power. If he has a good eye, he'll have a nice career.
  12. *awaits caulfield post about Puig*
  13. I see McCann signing in the AL as he'll be a DH in a few years
  14. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Oct 18, 2013 -> 01:24 AM) As I've said for weeks: Abreu target #1 McCann target #2 They're likely gonna deal for a young impact 3B or CF. I like this.
  15. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Oct 18, 2013 -> 12:59 AM) It's a possibility. In the Abreu thread someone said payroll is around $66 now . Last year it was $119. With $25M in TV money lets say the Sox stay around $120M payroll. That means we still have $50M+ to spend for 2014. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 18, 2013 -> 01:12 AM) With how poorly we played and the low attendance numbers, I think getting a payroll over $100 million would be an accomplishment. The payroll is at $66M before Gordon's arbitration and likely extension for Quintana and possibly Santiago. Even with those, if the Sox want to aim for $110+, they have enough for Ellsbury and McCann. Signing Abreu, McCann, and Ellsbury will put people in seats. Then add in AviGar, Sale, and Quintana and you have players that can attract fans.
  16. All aboard the McCann train. If they could somehow someway nab Ellsbury as well, then Rick Hahn is a baller.
  17. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 11:52 PM) Alright about to go play GTA and then hit the hay. Nugget: One of the Agencies who have been in touch "informally" with the Sox fairly recently has been ACES. Do some research and you can probably get some names. Ross Gload f*** yeah.
  18. We got our possible superstar hitter. Now add McCann and then shoot for the moon with Ellsbury (trade ADA for what you can), roll with this next year. CF - Ellsbury RF - Garcia DH - Dunn 1B - Abreu C - McCann LF - Viciedo SS - Alexei 3B - Semien 2B - Beckham Bench: Keppinger, Gillaspie, D2, Phegley
  19. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 09:37 PM) Seems like a leak-a-thon Sounds like that needs to get checked out.
