He's been there for 2 years. I can't imagine what it's like to be in his situation. It has to be hard to be motivated to be on this team. The same probably goes for Vaughn as well. There's no pressure of being replaced by someone in the minors. It's pretty hard to be successful in this lineup. It's not unusual to see players get better when they leave because they are around better players. There is something about this organization that resembles baseball hell.

That's pretty much the trademark of his ownership. He's could accomplish that even in Nashville.

they follow the pattern of the small market habitual losing teams - only in hopes of the overrated stocking the farm, there's always some organization that has hopes of a naive GM actually giving something up. There's only one that I can think of right now.
