Spivey and Uribe can be a good combination. Both are still young and lots of room for improvement. He has good speed and good defense skills. I want him here rather than Robbie so at least we can yield for the growth of these young middle infielders. Trade Valentin back to Milwaukee.

I was surprised they traded Choi. I think he will be good and he is a powerful lefty. I'd trade for him here in the Sox uni and let Choi show the Cubs what they let go. I just heard on ESPN radio 1000 updates Jon just signed a 1 year deal worth 2.3 mil. I think this is a good deal for both the sox and Jon.

I am not really excited about Big Hurt coming back. I dont hate him I just want the sox go the other way. Yeah he is still a great hitter but he doesnt produce when it counts. I enjoyed the thought of getting Nick Johnson from the Yanks but I guess that is out of the way now.

Renteria at SS is my dream. I dont want Jose here anymore. We need a change on that position. Cabrera and Guzman are the other ones I am hoping we can have next year. Hopefully Ozzie comes here as the third base coach and slate Castillo to sign with us. Robbie is still good but I would prefer a younger player.

I agree with KW that we need to fix our flaws. Everytime the sox faces somebody who has a change up or any slow pitch, we sucked and fell flat. Everytime we see a new pitcher, its like a rebirth of Cy Young. I believe if we get players who work on the pitcher by getting more pitches then poking the baseball for a hit like a Christian Guzman, we will fair well. Heck, the guy on deck see a lot of pitches and the pitcher gets tired and we can ran him off the field quickly. I listened to the press conf. earlier, KW was asked if he should have done the firing earlier, KW said "I, WE, could have done a lot". So with these words I believe he wanted to fire KW in the middle of the season but somebody stopped him. We have a lot of similar hitters in Thomas, Paulie, Daubach, Valentin etc. Hopefully, this offseason will be better days than this season that just concluded. I guest we'll wait and see if we will be satisfied with the changes. Good luck KW!

I want Castillo here better than Robbie. He is great but Castillo is younger than Robbie. We would spend the same amount of money anyway so why go with the younger guy. Matsui will be good at short but dont think we can afford him. The guy I really like at short is Renteria. Who can be our speedy guy at center? Who is available?

Why wont JM give Garland another start this year? He had been pitching great and everything fell down when JM didnt start Garland on the first game against the Twins. JM showed he has no confidence in JG and that is not right!
