Only thing that ever jumped out at me regarding Pallette is his extension is pretty mediocre. If there is on thing that certainly seems like a Bannister "thing" its guys with above average to elite extension. I'm not worried about it. I honestly think CLE will return him, and if they don't, Peyton Pallette is not going to make or break the future of this team.

IMO, Antonacci is essentially the same player as Meidroth. I get the excitement around his performance, but I'd expect someone else at 2B with these two battling it out for a bench role if/when this team is ready to compete.

I really like the Alberto pick. Seems like a guy they will be able to protect all year. I'm not sure how they are going to manage two guys in the pen again this year, especially with Paez. He's interesting but seems like the lack of innings and experience above High-A could be a problem.

Yikes... This is really reaching if Getz thinks this is worth pursuing. KBO pitchers, I can understand, but hitting? Even with no true 1B on the team there are easily 10-15 other guys I'd rather they go after than bringing him on.

I'm convinced Robert needs to be moved in order for Getz to keep adding to this team. That $20M is likely taking up whatever pathetic budget Getz has to work with.

Gomber, Quantrill, Blackburn, Cobb Marquez, Gonsolin, Miley, DeSclafani - all seem like the realistic and probable options for Getz.

I couldn't agree more with this.

You can never have enough arms. Signing Kay doesn't hurt anyones chance at contributing next year and only creates competition for the young guys. I'd rather have guys battle it out than award and force guys to stick.

I don't mind this at all. Jerry is never going to sign off on the prices FA pitching is getting nowadays, and at least Getz is getting creative. For a backend arm, they could do a lot worse, and now it creates a little competition between the fringe guys.

He barely played for them. He's pretty much been in the Mexican league last two seasons.

How do we know Pereira isn't in the plans to be the the starting RF or LF? Hill is fine as a 4th OF. He's in the 99% in speed and plays very good defense. If you liked Billy Hamilton then you should have no issue with Hill.

For when Robert gets hurt again. They have no legit CF option. $900K is nothing.

He's hurt and is going to miss all of 2026. No reason to keep him around and waste a 40-man spot.

Hopefully Ishbia is 100% in charge so we don't need to worry about seeing Montgomery leave. If the Sox land the #1 pick in the lottery, Roch Cholowski is going to make all this moot.
