You’d think Hahn would know after how many decades in the organization that JR is never going to give out a $100M+ contract.

And it’s amazing the amount of “stay out of Chicago business” people are out there that ignore the issues that are hurting the city. I never thought I’d see the day that people get attacked for having an opinion that crime is bad.

I don’t think Fernandez is much of anything outside of minor league filler. He’s played a ton of 1B this year too, so despite earlier reports I think that tells me everything I need to know about him.

Wait til people realize the new draft order rules. Sox will be probably worse next year and be guaranteed to pick outside the first 10 picks in 2025. They almost have to be competitive next year or they straight up screwed themselves because of how bad they are this season.

I’d agree, I think they’re much closer to the middle than they have them. Eder and Ramos alone are both fringe top 100 guys.

Didn’t see this anywhere, but he’s apparently with the Sox now, though there isn’t any confirmation anywhere. He’s got in his bio “Chicago White Sox,” and his wife posted an image of their little girl wearing a Sox shirt. I guess this is a MLB deal?

Was he the guy who said they showed him advanced swing data when they were checking in on him?

Cespedes is likely a 4th OF if he ever makes the majors but his bat is downright atrocious and right now I don’t see it playing in the majors. I don’t think we ever see Veras advance beyond AA. Lack of innings, way to many walks and he’s supposedly had a velo drop.

Am I nuts or do the Sox still need to get rid of someone? I count 41 on the 40-Man roster even with the Liam transfer.

Just another example of the classic JR completely lucking into a great player only for his "just good enough" mentality to take over. Everything this guy is involved in is a giant Fugazi or smoke and mirrors show.

I think they've made the decision to market the quiet, keeps to himself, and "safe" player that isn't going to sleep in the clubhouse during games, slap the s%*# out of the team's SS, enjoy the late-night party life in South Bend, or start raking up the baby mommas. What the worst he can do? Throw a fish back into a lake without removing the fish hook?

This is great. I don't believe a word Hahn says. Don't forget this guy is a lawyer first and foremost. I'd love to hear someone followup on the accountability question and ask Hahn to DEFINE what accountability means. They clearly don't have an understanding of how when you suck at your job, you deserve to get fired.
