I really want Kjerstad, but if the Sox could grab Jones and Hampton they should. Jones has a lot of risk but Hampton might be the best arm discussed so far in these rumors.

I just don’t think he’s a huge loss. There was nothing impressive IMO in his short look. You can find guys like him everywhere across the league. He’s really name and pedigree over results at this point in his career.

I don't think Oakland stands a chance at seeing another team any time soon, if ever. Why would MLB put another franchise after a decades long battle to move the A's to Vegas? There's plenty of new markets they would rather expand too.
