You're right, except now this organization would have to drastically overpay to get a guy to willingly choose to sign here - something they've never ever been able to do. Ozzie wants to be managing again - he might just take them up on it. Problem is his style of managing doesn't work in today's game. Literally no other team has given him a second chance. Well, one technically did - Guardians waived Straw.

I honestly expect around a .200-220 AVG with around 15 HR’s from him. He’s not good anymore but I think playing in Sox Park is gonna help him.

The one thing going for us is that there are already a lot of 40-man roster spots that will be needed if Leasure, Nastrini, Thorpe, Mendick, and Pillar all make the team. I don't think we have to worry too much about Moose taking up a spot.

The sad thing is Lorenzen is probably a better hitter than the 7-8-9 part of the lineup.

I'll give it a B, but on the lower side. It certainly strengthened the system, but the lack of a true can't miss type prospect is a bit worrisome. Despite how much I like them, I guess I'm not very convinced the Sox will actually be able to develop the toolsy Zavala and Iriarte to make all that much of a difference.
