  1. https://x.com/BNightengale/status/1744871222163484740?s=20 They finally did something.
  2. So he’s starting the year in Charlotte. And will be shutdown by June because of an innings limit. I don’t get how they are actually gonna pull this off with him. He has zero innings base.
  3. I really want Kjerstad, but if the Sox could grab Jones and Hampton they should. Jones has a lot of risk but Hampton might be the best arm discussed so far in these rumors.
  4. Do we realize this is not KevAn Smith of the White Sox?
  5. The Cubs getting a C is laughable. They haven’t done s%*#.
  6. My favorite memory is him leaving.
  7. ...because it can also be a more common side effect after recovering from covid itself. Yes, I overlooked that. It can be more dangerous for athletes. Eduardo Rodriguez would agree.
  8. Typically it lasts 6 weeks. Didn't even realize he had an issue with it. Myocarditis can be caused by any viral infection, but it normally isn't anything super serious and usually people go on to be just fine afterwards. Rare cases can cause permanent damage.
  9. We're talking child molestation here, not a fatal car accident. Franco is certainly never going to play again in the MLB.
  10. In no world would Caratini pick the White Sox over the Astros. As a backup this move if fine. He'll provide some much needed leadership and the young arms on this team will like throwing to him.
  11. Same. They really must not care much for Carlos Perez as well. If Lee starts in Charlotte, you're looking at Chuckie Robinson as the "veteran" backup.
  12. Doesn't matter how deep they are. You don't win if you don't supplement outside of your organization. No farm is perfect.
  13. How very 2022 White Sox of them!
  14. I cancelled my subscription when they fired Fegan and cut Sox coverage. Out of principle won’t go back.
  15. I just don’t think he’s a huge loss. There was nothing impressive IMO in his short look. You can find guys like him everywhere across the league. He’s really name and pedigree over results at this point in his career.
  16. The Rays originally gave up on Patino.
  17. I would hope the Sox would go elsewhere. I'm not a fan of Dominguez at all.
  18. Hampton is really the only guy in that group that I would say would need to be a given, but they really don't have much left in the cupboard. Jones is far from a sure thing. I'd say any team could beat what they have to offer.
  19. So... I just got an email from the Sox. I am still a 20-game season ticket holder and I have been invited to a "Winter with the White Sox" - a season ticket holder party being held January 26, which happens to be the same weekend Soxfest is typically held. No other details were given as to what it actually entails.
  20. No clue. It certainly seemed like Manfred did everything in his power to not help them out though.
  21. I don't think Oakland stands a chance at seeing another team any time soon, if ever. Why would MLB put another franchise after a decades long battle to move the A's to Vegas? There's plenty of new markets they would rather expand too.
  22. If you believe the article Nightingale posted, then no.
  23. That 2006 team was better on paper too. I’m still mad how they finished that season.
  24. That probably sets the catchers for this team. Stassi and Lee as the starters with Robinson, Perez, and Hackenberg in Charlotte.
  25. Evidently neither did the Sox, considering Rowand was traded for Thome.
