  1. I personally don't see this team being 10 wins better, especially if/once Cease is moved. Throw in a few key injuries and this team will be lucky to win over 65.
  2. Even with a subpar team, only 1 bobblehead day is a little surprising. They've yet to have a legit Vaughn one.
  3. ^^^ This right here. It's why they never win anything, and likely won't win anything in the next few years. You cannot win without supplementing your roster from the outside via trade or the FA market. They will half-ass their roster like RH and KW did with the Sox in 2021-2023.
  4. Certainly building up quite the collection of cheap, bad OF in Charlotte. I think there's a good chance this is the Opening Day RF. Link
  5. Cease coming in below what was expected is a nice surprise. Even cheaper for teams looking to trade for him.
  6. Can't pull off 3-team trades in the show. Can't even fall back on that.
  7. No, he's a reliever.
  8. Eh, Charlotte needs arms that can start games - something they haven't really had in years.
  9. Could be the Yankees negotiating to scare the Sox. The way this offseason has gone, I don’t think anyone really knows who’s talking to who. There’s too many conflicting reports out there.
  10. There's probably a very real chance he's extremely immature and not ready for the bigs. For all we know he could be Mercedes 2.0.
  11. Getz did not, but I don't see anyway around it. He has to build innings and Charlotte is the best place to do that. He doesn't serve any value to the MLB team throwing 80 innings as a starter, with potentially skipping starts here and there.
  12. https://x.com/BNightengale/status/1744871222163484740?s=20 They finally did something.
  13. So he’s starting the year in Charlotte. And will be shutdown by June because of an innings limit. I don’t get how they are actually gonna pull this off with him. He has zero innings base.
  14. I really want Kjerstad, but if the Sox could grab Jones and Hampton they should. Jones has a lot of risk but Hampton might be the best arm discussed so far in these rumors.
  15. Do we realize this is not KevAn Smith of the White Sox?
  16. The Cubs getting a C is laughable. They haven’t done s%*#.
  17. My favorite memory is him leaving.
  18. ...because it can also be a more common side effect after recovering from covid itself. Yes, I overlooked that. It can be more dangerous for athletes. Eduardo Rodriguez would agree.
  19. Typically it lasts 6 weeks. Didn't even realize he had an issue with it. Myocarditis can be caused by any viral infection, but it normally isn't anything super serious and usually people go on to be just fine afterwards. Rare cases can cause permanent damage.
  20. We're talking child molestation here, not a fatal car accident. Franco is certainly never going to play again in the MLB.
  21. In no world would Caratini pick the White Sox over the Astros. As a backup this move if fine. He'll provide some much needed leadership and the young arms on this team will like throwing to him.
  22. Same. They really must not care much for Carlos Perez as well. If Lee starts in Charlotte, you're looking at Chuckie Robinson as the "veteran" backup.
  23. Doesn't matter how deep they are. You don't win if you don't supplement outside of your organization. No farm is perfect.
  24. How very 2022 White Sox of them!
  25. I cancelled my subscription when they fired Fegan and cut Sox coverage. Out of principle won’t go back.
