Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
Don't forget they pulled that crap with Kimbrel's option for $16M with the intent to trade him.

Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
At this point I just want them to get anything and move on.

GT: Sox vs Royals 3:10 PM CHSN
Love seeing both Teel and Q in the lineup.

Ishbia taking control by 2029?
Tony keeps racking up DUI's. They get expensive after a while.

Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
Guy got prematurely paid, can't stay healthy, he fails to make adjustments, and the league figured him out.

Thank God for the Rockies
Honestly, I really wanted Jerry taking the all-time loss record with him to the grave. The dirty old bastard is getting bailed out.

Some good news (we hope)...
Oh, I did not realize that...

Some good news (we hope)...
Honestly, this would be the best time for him to go down with a long term injury. This team is dead for the next few seasons. Hopefully he's absolutely fine.

Sox to Sign Adrian Houser
I think he must have read this thread or something before this start.

The Sox next shelter rescue?
I think this says more about Jerry, than Getz. Jerry is always looking to spend $0.50 in hopes of getting more than he paid for.

H. Reynolds to B. Montgomery "You'll be in the big leagues this year"
Harold Reynolds is an idiot.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
I've... literally never said he doesn't deserve a shot (or want him to fail). How you are coming to that conclusion by me having low expectations because his profile historically doesn't breed success is beyond me.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
He definitely deserved the promotion.

Sox claim RHP Yoendrys Gómez; release Greg Jones
He was a top 30 guy in the Yankees system. His savant shows elite extension and his Curve and Sweeper seem to be above average movement-wise. At least he's 25, so maybe they have something they can work with instead of some of the other stiffs in the pen.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
Choosing to look at a much larger sample size of data to make a guess how a player may perform is wrong? I wish the kid all the success he can get, but I'm not sold on him being a savior of the White Sox after 112 AB's in Charlotte. Let's see him do it in the majors and prove me wrong.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
Before this year, Elko rocked a 7.0 BB% in the minors. I would tend to lean that the 11.6% we are seeing this year, is likely more of an outlier than some drastic change. He's never really been known as a patient hitter.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
Would it really surprise you if they did that? If it doesn't make sense, it's probably a White Sox move. Adding Maton back made zero sense. His spot should have been Elko's.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
Maybe the phantom IL Chase? Do we know why he was scratched last night?
-
Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
The lack of plate discipline and high K% isn't something that leads me to believe he will have long term success or turn into a potential long term answer for this team. But the kid is deserving to get a shot and can't be much worse than what we are seeing from Vaughn.

Soxtalk mourns the passing of our beloved friend Alex (Heads)
Absolutely terrible news. What a shame to have a life cut so tragically short. RIP Heads.

New City-Connects: Bulls / Sox collab
The design itself isn't bad, like you said the flying sock logo is actually pretty nice. It's just an incredibly lazy ass design. The point of these is to connect it the team to the city of Chicago, and this fails miserably at that. There is nothing connecting the Sox and Bulls outside of piss-poor ownership.

Bobby Dalbec added to roster, Meidroth to 10-day IL, Martín Pérez to 60-day IL
Could be something, could also be as simple as the law of averages finally catching up after having such a great decade.

Clevinger: Still in Charlotte
Getz is a yes-boy, and Clevinger has a deep connection to one of the stakeholders in the team. He's going to do as he is told.
