Ok, did anyone think that last curveball by Howell had weird, unnatural movement? Maybe it's just my reaction whenever Quentin strikes out, haha. It just looked devastating compare to earlier curveballs thrown.

Are we talking about Bureau here, as well? I don't know much more about it so I won't continue to act as if I do. Concerning the actual story on Soxtalk, even if it were unconfirmed and uncorroborated, what's the issue? We're not a legitimate news media and shouldn't have to be held to the same standards. This is baseball, afterall. People have created threads before of imminent signings and rumors claiming some sort of knowledge most aren't exposed to. We're not revealing the identiy of CIA agents, here. And neither should anyone care about our reputation if, say, everything Bureau posted and claimed to have inside connecitons proved to be wrong. This is a problem with WSI -- they seem to believe they're more than a fan-run website. I know I'll probably experience the wrath of moderators and administrators, but I just can't feel for Bureau because he provided the information himself. Tell the WORST that could happen to Soxtalk? We exposed inside information about the restructuring of the minor league system. hahaha, that's nothing important. It'd be different in Bureau came in here claiming Williams is having an affair with some random girl.

What I'm REALLY hoping for is either an overdraft somewhere in seven slots before us or Hosmer's demands not to scare anyone. It seems every year, even in the days leading up to the draft, there are a few surprises. It's so typical of the White Sox that we're at a quality position, but seemingly everything that is appealing (to me atleast) ends at 7. Beckham isn't a terrible player, but nothing about him would scream franchise player to me. This is ultimately my focus at our position. I won't even consider Wallace because it angers me to think about it. Just one surprise into the mix and one of Skipworth, Crow or Smoak will be available. That's all I'm asking for. One surprise before us.
