I'm stuck on what to give my girlfriend for Christmas. We were talking several weeks ago and both admitted not knowing what to give each other. We've known each other casually for four years, but have dating about a month. I just told her to buy me shoes, since she hates mine, and when I asked her what she wants she said, "I don't know." Therein lies the problem if a girl doesn't know what she wants, how the hell should i know? I know there's a concert she's interested in around July, but doesn't anyone else think that's a little forward to buy her tickets for an event that's seven months away when we've been dating for a month? I worry about her feeling pressure to keep me around, even though we've known each other casually for years so it's not like everything is new. Otherwise, I know she enjoys drinking wine so I was thinking about a classy, old style type of wine opener. Then a set of wine glasses and perhaps something else added in. Any suggestions?

Yes, I understand Cowley has his agenda; but even if his source is correct it doesn't change my view of Buehrle. My position is, so what if he does? What more does he owe this organization or its fans? All too often fans become attached to someone and feel they should never leave. I'm honestly reluctant to open up the Aaron Rowand thread....

It won't matter who's coaching, the team will still be bad. There's no one scenario aside from the White Sox retaining Walker that would have led to any sort of reaction from me.
